Patriots DL Michael Bennett is active for today's game against the Bills. He entered the day questionable with a shoulder injury and saw his snaps dip last week. LB Dont'a Hightower is inactive with his own shoulder injury. Neither should have factored into your IDP plans much, and Hightower's absence doesn't change the outlook for the New England team defense.
The Patriots have reached a deal to acquire DL MIchael Bennett from the Eagles for a mere swap of picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. Philly gets a 2020 fifth-rounder in exchange for a 2020 pick in Round 7. New England gets a veteran D-lineman capable of playing on the edge or inside. Bennett played the large majority of his snaps in edge spots for the Eagles last year. Pro Football Focus credited him with 68 total pressures, tied for 5th most among edge players. And that came with Bennett turning 33 in November. He has played all 16 games the past 2 years and 6 of the past 7 years. Bennett hasn't posted big sack numbers -- reaching 10 just once and never exceeding that total. But he's a real-life asset and capable of DL2 production. He'll help a New England front 7 that might yet lose DE Trey Flowers to free agency.
Eagles DE Michael Bennett (foot) is active for today's game against the Saints. He has been playing through "questionable" tags for weeks and is fine for IDP usage. CB Sidney Jones (hamstring) is inactive after entering the day questionable. He wouldn't have been an IDP option anyway. His absence keeps the Philly secondary weakened.
Eagles DE Michael Bennett (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bears. Bennett has played through "questionable" tags for weeks and put in a full practice Friday. Expect him to be in the lineup.
Eagles DE Michael Bennett (foot) and MLB Jordan Hicks (calf) are active for today's game against Washington. Both entered the day questionable. Bennett has played through "questionable" tags for weeks and should be fine for normal IDP usage. Hicks played just two-thirds of the snaps in last week's return from the multi-week calf injury and looks risky.
Eagles DE Michael Bennett (foot) and MLB Jordan Hicks (calf) are questionable for Sunday's game against Washington. Bennett has been playing through "questionable" tags for weeks and should be in for the finale as well. We'll certainly confirm his status Sunday. Hicks returned last week from 4 games down with the calf injury. He played just 66% of the snaps in that game. Then he missed Thursday's practice and spent Friday limited before the "questionable" designation. Hicks presents a lot of risk for IDP owners this week. But we'll update his status as well in case you're looking to take the plunge. We did move him down the Week 17 IDP rankings.
The Eagles left MLB Jordan Hicks off the final injury report after he put in full practices Thursday and Friday. Hicks started the week limited by the calf issue that cost him the past 4 games but looks ready for a full return. He'll find a Houston offense that presents a top-6 scoring matchup for fantasy LBs on the year. We've vaulted Hicks up the Week 16 IDP rankings. Elsewhere on the Philly D, DE Michael Bennett is questionable with his foot injury. He has played through questionable tags since Week 13 with the issue. We'll check his status Sunday morning.
Eagles DE Michael Bennett (foot) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Rams. Bennett played through questionable tags each of the past 2 weeks and put in a full Friday practice this week. Expect Bennett to play Sunday night, albeit in a poor matchup for sack upside.
Eagles DL Michael Bennett (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Cowboys. He opened the practice week with a limited Wednesday workout before sitting out Wednesday and then returning to a full practice Friday. It's a strange progression, but the full-practice finish makes Bennett look likely to play. We'll check his status Sunday afternoon.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is active for today's game against the Giants. He's dealing with a plantar fascia injury that's sure to be painful, but Bennett played nearly his usual full snap allotment even in the Week 5 game in which he got hurt. Use him as normal in IDP leagues.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Giants because of the plantar fascia injury he suffered in Week 5, before the bye. But HC Pete Carroll expects Bennett to play, according to ESPN.com's Brady Henderson. He's fine to use as you normally would in IDP lineups. Bennett played a full share of snaps in the game in which he got hurt.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett suffered an injury to the plantar fascia in his right foot in Sunday's win over the Rams, according to the Tacoma News Tribune. Bennett left in the game in the 2nd quarter but returned in the 2nd half and played through the issue. HC Pete Carroll said Monday that Bennett is "really sore" and that he's "going to need these couple of weeks here," referring to the team's Week 6 bye. We'll see about Bennett's status on the other side, but players often play through even painful plantar fascia issues.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) is active for tonight's game against the Panthers. The team has expected him to return all week, though Bennett entered Sunday questionable after limited practices Thursday and Friday. He's risky to use after 5 games off following knee surgery but is also a high-upside pass rusher when healthy.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) is questionable for Sunday night's game against the Panthers. He was limited Thursday and Friday after a full practice Wednesday. "We rested him a little bit to make sure that we don’t overdo him in back-to-back days so he’ll be ready to play,” HC Pete Carroll told the team website Friday. The status is a reminder that Bennett's coming back from knee surgery and a 5-game absence and could be limited this week. Check the Week 13 DL rankings to see where we're willing to play him.
Seahawks DE Michael Bennett (knee) and S Earl Thomas (hamstring) each put in full practices Wednesday. That makes it appear both will be ready to play Sunday against the Panthers. Thomas missed his 1st career game last week at Tampa Bay. Bennett has missed the past 5 contests. He'll be a little risky in IDP lineups until we see a full game back, but the full practice participation makes it easier to take a chance on Bennett right away -- assuming that level continues throughout the week. Thomas has been a low-level fantasy performer all season, so his return is far more significant to the team D than IDP owners. Both players boost the overall unit with their presence.
The Seahawks have ruled S Earl Thomas (hamstring) out for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers. They'll also be without DE Michael Bennett (knee), who will miss his 5th straight game. CB DeShawn Shead (hamstring) is questionable after missing practice all week. He doesn't look like a good bet to play -- and would likely carry re-injury risk if he is active and playing.
