The Cardinals have released WR Michael Crabtree, according to ESPN's Field Yates. Crabtree was a healthy scratch for Week 1 and played just 31 snaps over the past 2 games. Rookie KeeSean Johnson operated as Arizona's #4 WR in Week 3, behind Christian Kirk, Larry Fitzgerald and Damiere Byrd.

The Cardinals have signed WR Michael Crabtree. The veteran worked out for Arizona in early August and was reportedly close to signing before the deal fell apart. But it's official now. Perhaps the Cardinals got a little more desperate with WR Hakeem Butler expected to miss the season and Week 1 just a couple of weeks away. Christian Kirk and Larry Fitzgerald are seemingly locked in as Arizona's top 2 WRs. Rookie KeeSean Johnson is the favorite for #3 duties, but it's a fluid situation. Crabtree's spot on the depth chart will be worth monitoring.

Contrary to Monday's ProFootballTalk report, the Cardinals and WR Michael Crabtree have not agreed to terms. Adam Schefter and Ian Rapoport both report that the 2 sides could not agree on a contract after the veteran wideout worked out for Arizona. We'll see if the Cardinals proceed with adding anyone to an already-crowded WR corps.

ProFootballTalk reports that the Cardinals have signed WR Michael Crabtree after working out multiple receivers. The move seems to indicate Arizona isn't satisfied with its existing WR group. We'll see whether the former Raven can climb into the top 3 at the position. He'll have to work past the rookie trio of Andy Isabella, Hakeem Butler and KeeSean Johnson.

The Ravens have released WR Michael Crabtree. He lasted just 1 season in Baltimore, tallying a 54-607-3 line in 16 games. Crabtree struggled for production (along with the rest of the Ravens pass-catchers) after QB Lamar Jackson took over. But he also averaged just 52.4 yards per game with QB Joe Flacco. The 31-year-old Crabtree can still help a team as a short-range target but shouldn't be the focal point of a passing game. We'll see where he lands. The Ravens, meanwhile, now sport Willie Snead and Chris Moore atop the WR depth chart. They'll be addressing the position in free agency and/or the draft.

The forecast for today's Bills-Ravens game calls for a 100% chance of rain and 15 mph winds with gusts up to 21 mph. This had the makings of a low-scoring, run-heavy game anyways, and this weather only makes that more likely. Try to avoid the Bills passing game. Ravens WRs Michael Crabtree and John Brown are still fine WR3s.

The Ravens have reached a 3-year deal with WR Michael Crabtree, NFL Network reports. It’s a $21 million contract with $11 million guaranteed and $15 million total in the 1st 2 years. Ian Rapoport reports incentives could push that to $20 million. Whatever the specifics, we certainly like Crabtree much more than Ryan Grant, whose deal voided after he failed a physical. Crabtree looks like the heavy favorite to lead Baltimore in targets this fall and could dominate that category. He’s an easy WR2 in current fantasy football drafts, with upside to the top of that range

The Raiders have released WR Michael Crabtree. It sounds like it's a precursor to Oakland adding WR Jordy Nelson. Crabtree is coming off a disappointing 58-catch, 618-yard campaign. But he still tallied 8 TDs in 14 games, giving him 8+ scores in 3 straight seasons. He also posted 85 and 89 catches, respectively, the previous 2 years and will be just 31 in September. Crabtree should draw plenty of interest on the open market. We'll assess his bounce-back chances when he finds a new home.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree isn't listed on the Week 17 injury report. HC Jack Del Rio said Crabtree hurt his hamstring late in last week's loss to the Eagles, but it evidently won't be an issue today. Crabtree is just a WR3 vs. a tough Chargers secondary.

Raiders HC Jack Del Rio said Wednesday that WR Michael Crabtree injured his hamstring in Monday night's loss to the Eagles. He posted a goose egg in that one and played just 45% of the offensive snaps. We'll keep an eye on Crabtree over the next few days, but he'll be a shaky fantasy option if he plays against the Chargers' tough secondary this weekend.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree and Broncos CB Aqib Talib have had their suspensions reduced to 1 game upon appeal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. So Crabtree will miss this weekend's game against the Giants but be back for Week 13 vs. the Chiefs.

The NFL has suspended Raiders WR Michael Crabtree and Broncos CB Aqib Talib 2 games without pay following their extended altercation in Sunday's game. That takes Crabtree out for next Sunday's home date with the Giants and the Week 13 visit to Kansas City. Both of those look like upside passing matchups, with the Giants likely losing lead CB Janoris Jenkins for the season to an ankle injury. The Chiefs, of course, allowed Derek Carr and the Raiders that huge game last month that included Amari Cooper's career-best line. Expect an appeal, especially after Bucs WR Mike Evans got a 1-game suspension and Bengals WR A.J. Green avoided discipline following similar on-field scrapes. We'll see if anything changes here. If not, though, Carr gets a downgrade over the next 2 weeks -- especially with Cooper nursing a concussion and an ankle sprain.
