Raiders WR Michael Crabtree and Broncos CB Aqib Talib were ejected in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game. They got into a wrestling match well after the whistle and both threw punches. We'll see if there's further discipline from the league beyond this week.

Raiders HC Jack Del Rio said Wednesday that he's "optimistic" that WR Michael Crabtree (lung) will return for this weekend's game against the Ravens. Crabtree was limited last Wednesday and Thursday before sitting out on Friday. Then he was downgraded from questionable to doubtful on Saturday. We'll monitor his status throughout the week. Crab will be more of a low-end WR2 if he plays this weekend with E.J. Manuel under center.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree suffered a bruised lung in last Sunday night's loss to the Redskins, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. It'd previously been called only a chest injury. Crabtree was downgraded to doubtful for Week 4 on Saturday night, and Rapoport confirms that he won't play vs. Denver today. It's certainly possible he misses more time beyond that. We'll keep an eye on his status throughout the coming week.

The Raiders announced Saturday that WR Michael Crabtree (chest) has been downgraded to doubtful for Sunday's game at Denver. That could push more targets toward WR Amari Cooper and TE Jared Cook, but it certainly doesn't help an already negative fantasy outlook for QB Derek Carr.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree sustained a concussion in Saturday's loss to the Texans. Oakland's season is over, but the head injury is worth filing away. It's the 1st known concussion of his career. Crabtree tallied 89 catches, 1,003 yards and 8 TDs during the regular season, finishing 12th among WRs in PPR points. That followed a 17th-place finish in 2015. Crabtree turns 30 in September but will be a good bet for WR2 production again in 2017.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree recorded team-highs in targets (8), catches (6), yards (60) and TDs (1) vs. San Diego. Playing through an injured ring finger, Crabtree dropped a pass or 2. But he made 1 of top catches of the week — a toe-tapper in the end zone — for his 8th score of the season. With Amari Cooper struggling, Crabtree will remain an upside WR2 for a Week 16 date vs. the Colts.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree tangled with Chiefs CB Marcus Peters for much of Thursday night's game. The end result was 4 catches on 7 targets for 21 yards. Oakland didn't even try to hit Crabtree downfield, with his longest catch going for just 12. Peters and the Chiefs have handled him twice now. (They limited him to a 2-10 line back in Week 6.) The good news is that Crabtree doesn't face Kansas City again this season. He gets a Chargers defense in Week 15 that he went for 47 yards and a score against earlier this season.

The Broncos have ruled CB Aqib Talib out for the 2nd straight week with back trouble. His absence didn't help the Chargers' passing game too much last week, but this Sunday features a showdown with Oakland WRs Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. Denver's #3 CB, Bradley Roby, would be the #1 or #2 for most other teams, so even losing Talib doesn't significantly downgrade the Broncos secondary. Oakland doesn't have a 3rd receiving capable of pulling serious defensive attention away from the top 2 -- with Cooper the most dynamic threat. Don't alter your fantasy plan for the Oakland wideouts. The forecast for today's Chiefs-Raiders game calls for a 60% chance of rain with winds of 15-19 mph. "Winds could occasionally gust over 40 mph," according to The Weather Channel. That wind is a much bigger concern than the rain. It'll impact both passing games, especially deeps balls. That's a bigger issue for Derek Carr than Alex Smith, who rarely goes deep anyway. We're nudging Carr and his WRs down the Week 6 Rankings.

The Raiders have signed WR Michael Crabtree to a 4-year, $35 million extension, locking him up through the 2019 season.  It's a well-deserved deal for 1 of this year's biggest surprises.  After looking washed-up in San Francisco last year, Crabtree has tallied a 66-760-7 line through 12 games.  He's sitting 14th among WRs in both PPR and non-PPR scoring.  Still only 28 years old, Crabtree is a strong dynasty hold.

Wind will be a factor in today's Vikings-Raiders game.  The forecast at kickoff calls for 24 mph winds with gusts up to 40 mph.  That's enough to bench Ks Blair Walsh and Sebastian Janikowski.  Both passing games get slight downgrades.  Minnesota, especially, figures to go run-heavy with Adrian Peterson.

Raiders WR Michael Crabtree injured his ankle early in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Bears.  He was trying to walk it off on the sideline and is considered questionable to return.

Raiders insider Scott Bair suggests that WR Michael Crabtree could lose a spot in the starting lineup to WR Rod Streater in training camp.  Crabtree's name is bigger than his game at this point.  Numerous injuries have sapped his explosion, resulting in a 10.3 yards-per-catch average last season.  Bair does call Crab the "clear favorite" to win the battle but adds, "don't sleep on Streater."  Limited by a fractured foot to just 3 games last year, Streater is now 100% healthy.  And he posted a 60-888-4 line back in 2013.  We'll keep an eye on this battle, but neither guy is likely to emerge as more than a spot starter for your fantasy squad.
