Packers DE Muhammad Wilkerson suffered a "significant" ankle injury in Sunday's game at Washington, HC Mike McCarthy told reporters Monday. The injury required Wilkerson to have an unspecified procedure on the ankle before he could travel back to Green Bay. We'll await further word on the injury, but it sure sounds like this will end Wilkerson's season. McCarthy also revealed Monday that OLB Nick Perry has entered the league concussion protocol. He'll need to clear that before playing in an upside sack matchup against the Bills on Sunday.
Update: ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports that Wilkerson's season is over.
Packers DE Muhammad Wilkerson left today's game at Washington on a cart after suffering an ankle injury. He has already been ruled out for the rest of the game. We'll see about the diagnosis.
The Packers on Tuesday agreed to a terms with DE Muhammad Wilkerson, according to ESPN's Rob Demovsky. Wilkerson struggled through arguably his worst pro season in 2017, dealing with shoulder and foot injuries and losing late-season time to attitude issues. But he'll still be just 28 when the 2018 season begins and will reunite with new Packers DC Mike Pettine, the Jets DC for Wilkerson's 1st 2 pro campaigns. Wilkerson retains plenty of IDP upside for 2018 and beyond.
Jets HC Todd Bowles refused to say Friday whether DE Muhammad Wilkerson will return to the lineup for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He practiced in full every day this week after getting benched for a rules violation in Week 15, but NJ.com reports that Wilkerson saw "very little work" in practice and "wasn't involved in the game plan." We'll see about his active status Sunday morning, but we can't bet on Wilkerson playing if you're weighing him against a Saturday player.
Jets HC Todd Bowles announced Friday that DE Muhammad Wilkerson will not travel with the team for Sunday's game against the Saints. He did not give a reason, but NJ.com reports that Wilkerson was late for a team meeting Friday. IDP owners obviously need to make other plans, but he was a low-level option anyway.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (foot) is active for today's game against the Panthers and fine to use as you normally would. He has been playing through questionable tags all season.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (foot) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He put in limited practices all week and has commonly played through "questionable" tags for this issue. We'll confirm his status Sunday morning but expect him to play.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder, toe) is active for today's game against the Falcons after entering the weekend questionable. It's his weekly standard at this point. Continue to not use him in IDP lineups unless you need to.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (toe, shoulder) is active today against the Dolphins. The team had reportedly been considering sitting him, and HC Todd Bowles said they're going week by week on that front at this point. IDP owners should plan to use someone else anyway, as Wilkerson has gotten off to a terrible start this season.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is questionable once again for Sunday's game against the Dolphins. Although Wilkerson has played through questionable tags previously -- including last week -- the team might hold him out this time around. "It's a thought," HC Todd Bowles said Friday, per ESPN.com's Rich Cimini. "We discuss it day by day and week by week, and we'll go from there. We don't make anybody play that doesn't want to play. ... It's been good enough to play on Sunday thus far. We'll see this Sunday." Wilkerson has not been effective while playing through a shoulder injury and a toe injury on his right foot. Even if he's active, he shouldn't be in your IDP lineup.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson will play against the Patriots today, despite shoulder and toe injuries keeping him out of practice all week. After a sluggish start to the season anyway, Wilkerson could see limited snaps and is likely to deal with limited effectiveness. He'll be a risky IDP option ... though we could also see New England run at him to test Wilkerson's health and limit exposure for Tom Brady's sprained shoulder. Wilkerson sits well down the DL rankings for Week 6 overall.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Patriots. HC Todd Bowles said Friday that Wilkerson will likely be a game-time decision, according to The Associated Press. Wilkerson is not worth waiting on for your IDP lineup, as he has gotten off to a very slow start anyway. Wilkerson is dealing with shoulder and toe injuries.
As expected, Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is active for today's game against the Browns. He was questionable with a shoulder injury that he has already conceded might bother him the rest of the season.
The Jets have ruled Kony Ealy out for Sunday's game against the Browns because of a shoulder injury. His absence hurts an already weak pass rush. DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) is questionable but has been playing through questionable tags since suffering the injury. He put in limited workouts all week.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Jaguars. The injury threatens his effectiveness, though, and makes Wilkerson a riskier IDP lineup candidate than we've been used to in past seasons.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Jaguars. We'd bet on him playing through the sprain again, but the injury figures to affect his effectiveness. Wilkerson said this week he might be dealing with the issue all season.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson said this week that he might be dealing with pain from his injured shoulder all season. ESPN's Rich Cimini reports that Wilkerson has a Grade 1 AC joint sprain in his left shoulder. The veteran played through the issue in Week 3 but has gotten off to a sluggish start -- especially statistically.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson (shoulder) is active for today's game against the Dolphins. Wilkerson carries IDP upside whenever he's on the field, though he's been off to a slow start this season.
Jets DE Muhammad Wilkerson is questionable for Sunday's game against the Dolphins with a shoulder injury. He missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but returned to a limited workout Friday. Wilkerson also played some portion of last week's loss to the Raiders with the shoulder issue. We'd bet on him playing, but the injury could limit his effectiveness -- on top of an already slow start to this season. Wilkerson carries risk for your IDP lineup in Week 3. We'll confirm his game status Sunday morning.
Jets DEs Sheldon Richardson (back) and Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle) are active for today's game against the Bills. Both players entered the day questionable but are fine to use if they were in your IDP plans.
