The Bucs inked K Ryan Succop to a new 3-year, $12 million deal. Succop drilled 28 of 31 FG attempts last season, although he missed 5 XPs. He still finished as a top 8 fantasy K. And with the Bucs bringing the band back together for 2021, Succop will be a strong option in drafts.
Bucs K Ryan Succop has been activated from the COVID list. He'll kick against the Falcons this weekend and is a solid fantasy option with Tampa currently sporting a 27.75-point implied total.
Bucs K Ryan Succop has been placed on the COVID list. We'll see if he can get cleared in time for Sunday's game vs. Atlanta. If not, Greg Joseph would kick for Tampa.
The Buccaneers are releasing K Matt Gay, a 5th-round pick from 2019. Gay ranked 4th among kickers in scoring last season but made just 77.1% of his FGs and even missed 5 extra-point attempts. He reportedly hadn't been any better this summer. Veteran K Ryan Succop takes over the job and should be a solid option for Week 1 fantasy lineups.
The Bucs have signed K Ryan Succop. He'll compete with K Matt Gay, who has reportedly struggled in camp. Avoid the situation in fantasy drafts until we get a winner.
The Titans have released TE Delanie Walker. Walker racked up 381 catches across 7 seasons with Tennessee but played in just 8 total games over the past 2 seasons because of injuries. He has said he plans to play again in 2020 but will turn 36 in August. Jonnu Smith stands as the lead TE with Walker gone and will carry upside from his TE2 ADP if he remains in that spot. Tennessee also released K Ryan Succop.
The Titans have signed K Greg Joseph from the Panthers practice squad, Pro Football Talk reports. K Ryan Succop has converted just 1 of 6 FG attempts since returning from injury and might be on the outs. Avoid this situation in Week 16 fantasy lineups.
Update: Succop has been placed on IR with a knee injury. Joseph will take over as Tennessee's kicker.
Titans K Ryan Succop (knee) has been activated from the IR and will kick against the Panthers on Sunday. He's not a great fantasy option on a Tennessee team sitting 24th in points and 26th in total yards. K Cody Parkey was released in a corresponding roster move.
Titans K Ryan Succop (knee) has been placed on IR. K Cairo Santos has been signed to replace him. Santos is an uninspiring fantasy option on Tennessee's mediocre offense.
Titans K Ryan Succop (knee) is not listed on the final injury report after putting in full practices on Thursday and Friday. He’s fine to keep in Week 4 fantasy lineups if he’s your best option.
Titans K Ryan Succop didn't practice on Wednesday. HC Mike Vrabel said afterward that Succop is dealing with tendonitis in his left knee. It's unclear if he's in danger of missing this weekend's game against the Eagles, but fantasy owners might want to roll with a healthier option in Week 4 fantasy lineups.
The Titans re-signed K Ryan Succop to a 3-year deal. The 28-year-old connected on 19 of 22 FGs last year (86.4%) and hit all 27 extra point attempts. A lack of volume placed him 29th in fantasy scoring, however, and it’s hard to see significant improvement in 2015. Tennessee's lackluster offense gives Succop minimal fantasy appeal.
The Titans have released rookie K Travis Coons and signed K Ryan Succop. The Chiefs dumped Succop over the weekend to save money, but he's connected on an acceptable 81% of his FGs over the past 5 seasons. You should be able to do better for your fantasy kicker, though.
The Chiefs have cut veteran K Ryan Succop in favor of cheaper youngster Cairo Santos. Each went 3-for-3 on FG attempts in the preseason, and Succop outperformed Santos on kickoffs. Unless Santos was the clear accuracy winner in practices, this seems like a money-driven decision. The Brazilian-born Santos kicked at Tulane, where he won the 2012 Lou Groza Award. We'd be wary of drafting him as a starting kicker right away. But, then again, it's not like you'd have trouble finding a replacement on waivers.
