Cardinals S Deionte Thompson (knee) is inactive for today's game against the Buccaneers. With slot CB Tramaine Brock also out, S Jalen Thompson looks like a lock for full playing time in a high-upside matchup. OLB Terrell Suggs (hamstring) is active after entering the day questionable.

Cardinals OLB Terrell Suggs is active for today's game against the Bengals. He has been dealing with a back injury, which makes him a risky IDP play. There is upside for deep leagues, though.

Cardinals OLB Terrell Suggs is questionable for Sunday's game against the Bengals. A back issue kept him out of practice Thursday and Friday. HC Kliff Kingsbury indicated that missing the game is a possibility, according to USA Today's Cards Wire. It sounds like Suggs will be a game-day decision. We've moved him down the LB rankings for the week on the uncertainty. It remains an upside matchup, though.

The Cardinals are expected to sign OLB Terrell Suggs when free agency opens Wednesday, according to multiple reports. Despite turning 36 in October, Suggs never saw much of a playing-time dip in Baltimore and appeared in all 16 games each of the past 2 years -- 15+ games in 5 of the past 6 seasons. He figures to join the edge rotation for an Arizona defense that's switching back to a 3-4 base under new DC Vance Joseph in 2019. We'll see whether the Cards retain free-agent DE/OLB Markus Golden, or if they signed Suggs to simply replace him.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs (hamstring) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns. He finished the week with a full practice, though, and tends to play through "questionable" tags.

Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley (knee) and OLB Terrell Suggs (knee) are active for tonight's game against the Steelers. They're good to go if you were waiting for either as an IDP starter.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs is questionable for Sunday night's game at Pittsburgh with a knee injury. Suggs missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a limited workout Friday. We'll check on his status Sunday evening.

Ravens CB Jimmy Smith (concussion) is active today against the Jets despite entering the weekend questionable. Baltimore will be without other starting CB Shareece Wright (thigh), however, along with OLB Terrell Suggs (biceps) and ILB C.J. Mosley (thigh), who had already been ruled out.

Ravens ILB C.J. Mosley has been ruled out for Sunday's game agains the Jets, marking the 2nd straight game he'll miss with a thigh injury. He sat out practice all week. LB Albert McClellan started in his place against the Giants, played 79% of the snaps and should get the nod again. But Zachary Orr is the Baltimore LB to play in your IDP leagues. The defense will also likely miss OLB Terrell Suggs, who's doubtful with a torn biceps. CB Shareece Wright is also doubtful with a thigh injury, while CB Jimmy Smith (concussion) is questionable. He had yet to clear the concussion protocol as of Friday. CB Tavon Young, OLB Za'Darius Smith and rookie OLB Matt Judon should see more playing time with all the injuries.

The Ravens got OLB Terrell Suggs on the practice field Monday for the 1st time since he suffered a torn left Achilles' tendon in last season's opener, according to The Baltimore Sun. That's good news for the Baltimore defense. It's tough to trust the 33-year-old as an IDP target this season, though. Suggs tore his right Achilles' back in 2012. He did return to post 10 sacks in 2013 and 12 in 2014 before last year's injury, but we'll need to see how the veteran looks now before considering him more than a late matchup option in deep fantasy football drafts. The Baltimore D, meanwhile, continues to wait for OLB Elvis Dumervil to return from his offseason foot surgery.

The Ravens' defense will open training camp with top edge rushers Terrell Suggs and Elvis Dumervil on the PUP list. Suggs suffered a torn Achilles' tendon in Week 1 last season. He'll turn 34 in October and doesn't look like a great bet for another double-digit sack season. We'll see how soon he can return to the field and how he looks once he gets there. Dumervil had foot surgery right after the season for an unspecified issue that he said he didn't want to linger into 2016. "I feel much better than I felt last year," he told ESPN.com in mid-June. "Everything is looking great, and I'm headed in the right direction." Players can come off the camp PUP list at any point, so we'll keep an eye on Dumervil's return and adjust our 2016 IDP rankings as needed.

The Ravens defense will be shifting to primarily a 4-3 front in 2016, according to MMQB.com.  The change might not mean much for the team D in fantasy, but it could mean new position designations for OLBs Elvis Dumervil and Terrell Suggs in IDP formats. It also could significantly impact the way Baltimore approaches early picks in the upcoming NFL Draft. We'll see how this situation develops and sets up for IDP impact.

Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs will miss the rest of the season after suffering a torn Achilles' tendon in Sunday's loss at Denver. Suggs will turn 33 in October and might well be done as a productive player in the NFL. Colts OLB Robert Mathis suffered a similar injury before last season began and wasn't ready by this season's opener. Suggs' contract also might keep Baltimore from cutting him in the spring, however. For this season, Suggs' absence creates opportunity for former 2nd-round pick Courtney Upshaw and rookie Za'Darius Smith. Upshaw will be auditioning for his next contract, as he's set for free agency in the spring. Losing Suggs certainly doesn't help the Baltimore D, though his performance seemed to decline in 2014.

According to Jeff Zrebiec of The Baltimore Sun, Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs "will certainly be worth monitoring in training camp" for several reasons. The veteran arrived a bit out of shape at OTAs, which Zrebiec concedes isn't necessarily a big deal. But Suggs has also admitted that he's trying to "cope" with the trade of DL Haloti Ngata -- reportedly his best friend on the team -- and said that he's "determined to pace himself this offseason." Suggs is coming off 2 straight seasons of 10+ sacks but will turn 33 in October and tailed off down the stretch in 2013. We'll keep an eye on him this summer while tempering our optimism for his IDP production.

Ravens LB Terrell Suggs is active for today's clash with a Browns offense starting undrafted rookie QB Connor Shaw. He and the rest of the Baltimore defense make for high-ceiling fantasy football options.

Ravens LB Terrell Suggs told the team's website that he wants to avoid packing on weight in the winter months this season after getting too heavy down the stretch in 2013.  “It gets a little cold and you gain a little weight,” Suggs said. “I probably put on a little too much weight down the stretch. That’s one of my big focuses going into this year is to keep my weight down so I can have a strong finish.”  Suggs delivered 9 sacks over his 1st 8 games last year but produced just 1 over his final 8 contests.  He's put up enough previous production for us to take his word on the extra pounds weighing down his performance late in 2013.  Suggs will also turn 32 in October, however, so we'll see whether natural physical decline is also showing up.  Check our 2014 LB rankings to see where you should consider drafting him in your IDP league.

Ravens LB Terrell Suggs has signed a 4-year extension with the team.  Suggs' previous 6-year deal was set to expire after 2014 but count more than $12 million against the salary cap.  The new deal provides cap relief for the team and just might be the last NFL contract for the 31-year-old pass-rusher.  Suggs started hot for IDP owners in 2013 but registered just 1 sack over his final 7 games.  Don't be surprised if the aging star slides down the 2014 IDP rankings.

All 3 Ravens D starters who missed practice time this week are active.  LB Daryl Smith (thigh), CB Jimmy Smith (groin) and LB Terrell Suggs (foot, probable) will all start against the Bengals today.  Suggs and Daryl Smith make for strong IDP options.
