Washington CB Kendall Fuller (knee) is inactive for today's game against Arizona. Jimmy Moreland is expected to start in his place. LB Thomas Davis (calf) is active for the game. We'll see whether his return changes the LB lineup. Jon Bostic and Kevin Pierre-Louis were the full-time LBs in Week 1.

Washington CB Kendall Fuller (knee) and LB Thomas Davis (calf) are questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals. It's more likely that neither would be in your IDP plans even if active, but we'll update their statuses Sunday afternoon. Davis' return after he missed Week 1 could complicate Washington's LB picture.

Washington has ruled out LB Thomas Davis with a calf injury. That might help to explain why the veteran hasn't sat among the starters in the initial depth chart. We'll see how this LB situation sorts out in the early weeks. Try to avoid it with your IDP lineup for at least Week 1, if you can.

LB Thomas Davis announced Tuesday that he'll be signing with Washington. The move gets him back with former Panthers HC Ron Rivera. It also gives Davis a shot at maintaining a starter role. Washington is returning ILB Jon Bostic from last year's team and added former Bears LB Kevin Pierre-Louis this week. But its LB corps remains weak. Meanwhile, Davis -- who will turn 37 this month -- would seem to have little reason to sign so early without at least the promise of competing for a starting role. We'll see how this group shakes out for IDP purposes.

The Chargers have released LB Thomas Davis. The veteran opened last season as the team's playing-time leader at the position, but his snap counts dipped later in the season. Drue Tranquill -- a 4th-round pick in 2019 -- looks like the best bet to lead 2020 Chargers LBs in playing time at the moment. Expect the team to address the corps in some fashion this offseason, though. The Chargers have also restructured the contract of LB Denzel Perryman, shifting guaranteed salary to incentives. That doesn't point to him gaining snaps and becoming a bigger IDP contributor.

Chargers LB Thomas Davis is active for today's game against the Broncos. He entered the day questionable with a groin injury but put in limited practices all week and should be OK for your IDP lineup. DE Melvin Ingram is inactive after entering the day questionable with his hamstring injury.

Chargers LB Thomas Davis is questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos with a groin injury. He put in limited practices all week, though, and has rarely missed games throughout his career for non-devastating injuries. We'll check Davis' status Sunday afternoon, but bet on him playing if you have a decision to make.

The Chargers will be signing LB Thomas Davis, ESPN's Adam Schefter reports. Davis joins a crowded LB corps that will continue to start Denzel Perryman after re-signing him. Jatavis Brown figures to return to a backup role. We'll see how 2019 rookie Kyzir White fits in. Davis turns 36 on March 22 but remained a full-time player after returning from his season-opening PED suspension. We'll see how the Chargers sort out the corps. They haven't favored playing any LB at 100% in recent seasons. Davis' departure could allow LB Shaq Thompson to regain full playing time in Carolina. He's in the final year of his rookie contract.

Panthers DE Mario Addison is questionable for Sunday's game against the Buccaneers with a hip injury. Addison missed practice Wednesday and Thursday before putting in a limited workout Friday. We'll check on his status Sunday morning. Carolina, of course, will definitely go without OLB Thomas Davis, who was suspended 1 game for an illegal hit that left Packers WR Davante Adams concussed.

Panthers LB Thomas Davis sat out Wednesday's practice with a rib injury that knocked him out of Sunday's loss to the Saints. We'll keep an eye on his participation as the week progresses.

Panthers DE Charles Johnson (quad) and LB Thomas Davis (hamstring) are active for tonight's game against the Bucs after entering today questionable. They're OK to use in IDP leagues if you've waited to this point.

Panthers OLB Thomas Davis left Sunday's loss to the Falcons with a hamstring injury and did not return. He was seen riding a stationary bike on the sideline, so we doubt it's too serious an injury. But we'll look for a further update on his outlook this week.

Panthers LB Thomas Davis had surgery Monday to repair the right forearm fracture that knocked him out of Sunday's win over the Cardinals. The doesn't necessarily knock him out for the Super Bowl, though. "My understanding is if everything goes well it is something he can mostly certainly play with," Panthers coach Ron Rivera said Monday, according to The Associated Press. "So we are excited about that possibility." Davis' absence would take away 1 of Carolina's top playmakers, but that didn't seem to hurt the Panthers too much in their NFC title game beatdown.

Panthers OLB Thomas Davis had an MRI Monday for a pectoral injury that he suffered in Sunday's win over the Saints. We'll keep an eye out for the results to determine his status for Week 4 and beyond. Carolina has already missed Luke Kuechly the past 2 weeks because of a concussion.

Panthers LB Luke Kuechly is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Saints. He still has yet to progress through the league concussion protocol after missing Week 2 with the injury that knocked him out of the opener. "He saw the doctor, but he's still in the protocol,'' HC Ron Rivera said Friday, according to "We're just trying to be smart and go through the process of the protocol.'' His absence boosts the tackle upside for OLB Thomas Davis and leaves A.J. Klein as the middle starter.

Panthers LB Thomas Davis hyperextended his left knee in Sunday's win over the Bucs. HC Ron Rivera told the Charlotte Observer that he expects Davis to be limited in practice Wednesday but thinks he'll be ready for Sunday's game against the Browns. “We’ll see what this week holds,” Davis said. “I got a little time between now and Wednesday to get myself healthy and get myself out there. It’s one day at a time.” As long as Davis practices this week, you can keep him in your IDP plans for Week 16.

Panthers OLB Thomas Davis is inactive for today's trip to Baltimore, a week after suffering a hip injury against Pittsburgh.  Davis made a surprisingly early return to practice this week, which suggests he could return in Week 5 against Chicago.  But we'll have to watch his status in practice during the coming week.  No Davis replacement is worth sticking into your Week 4 IDP lineup.

Panthers LB Thomas Davis drew a "questionable" tag for Week 4 after returning for limited practices Thursday and Friday.  We'd still try not to use the OLB so soon after his hip injury even if he's active.  Davis has gotten off to a slow-ish fantasy start anyway, so it's not like you're benching stud production in your IDP league.
