The Ravens will have DE Timmy Jernigan (shoulder), DL Brandon Williams (back) and OLB Elvis Dumervil (foot) active for today's game against the Bengals. All 3 entered the weekend questionable. Jernigan's the only real IDP option among the trio for most fantasy outfits.
Ravens CB Shareece Wright (thigh), LB C.J. Mosley (thigh) and DL Timmy Jernigan (shoulder) are active for today's game against the Cowboys. Use them as you normally would in IDP situations. Wright returns from 3 games lost to injury and has played in just 1 of Baltimore's past 5 contests. He has only delivered 2 quality fantasy outings for the year. Baltimore will be without top CB Jimmy Smith (back) and OLB Elvis Dumervil (foot).
The Ravens will likely miss at least CB Jimmy Smith (back) and OLB Elvis Dumervil (foot) Sunday against Dallas. Both players are doubtful. Smith put in just a limited practice Friday after sitting out Wednesday and Thursday. Dumervil put in full workouts Wednesday and Thursday before a limited Friday. HC John Harbaugh told The Baltimore Sun that Dumervil looked good in practice this week but that his status would be up to the doctors. DE Timmy Jernigan (shoulder), LB C.J. Mosley (thigh) and CB Shareece Wright (thigh) are all questionable for the game. Jernigan joined the injury report Thursday and missed the final 2 workouts. He looks like a weak bet to play. Mosley, on the other hand, put in full practices Thursday and Friday, while Wright practiced in full every day. Both appear likely to play.
Ravens OLB Elvis Dumervil is officially questionable for Sunday's meeting with the Raiders, but multiple reports have indicated that the team expects him to make his 2016 debut. Dumervil had offseason foot surgery, which kept him out through training camp and the preseason. It's tough to expect his usual productivity right away, and we might even see limited snaps. But his return should help a D that's tied for 8th in the league in sacks. DE Timmy Jernigan is also questionable for Week 4 with a knee issue, but he put in full practices Thursday and Friday. Jernigan seems likely to play.
The league has suspended Ravens DL Haloti Ngata 4 games for violating the PED policy. That puts the veteran lineman out for the rest of the regular season. Although Ngata has popped up for solid fantasy football numbers at times, he hasn't been a big IDP contributor. So replacing him shouldn't be too difficult. Baltimore figures to turn primarily to rookie Timmy Jernigan in Ngata's role, which could mean some IDP upside for Jernigan in a positive matchup with the Dolphins on Sunday. Losing Ngata hurts the defense overall but doesn't significantly alter the team D's fantasy outlook.
