The Bears will have OLB Pernell McPhee (knee), OLB Willie Young (ankle) and CB Tracy Porter (knee) on the field today against the Giants. All 3 are active after entering the day questionable. All sit well down the list as IDP options but are in play if they make sense for your lineup.

Bears OLB Pernell McPhee (knee) and CB Tracy Porter (knee) are active for today's game against the Bucs. Neither makes for a strong IDP option.

Raiders CB Mike Jenkins (hamstring) is inactive for today's finale against the Broncos.  CB Tracy Porter (hip), meanwhile, will play.  Porter had been viewed as the less likely to be active.  He'll carry IDP upside into the matchup with the dynamic Denver pass offense.  The Raiders D overall, of course, makes for a terrible fantasy option.

Raiders startrting CBs Tracy Porter (hip flexor) and Mike Jenkins (hamstring) are both questionable for Sunday's rematch with the Broncos.  According to CSN Bay Area, Porter looks more likely to miss the game, though both are truly questionable.  A Raiders D missing both CBs would only make life easier for Peyton Manning and crew.  They don't need the help.

For the 1st time in more than a year, Raiders rookie CB D.J. Hayden will take part in full-contact practice Sunday.  The 1st-round pick finally gained clearance after wearing a red, no-contact jersey since May surgery to remove scar tissue from his abdomen.  That issue arose from the emergency heart surgery in his final college season.  The Raiders could certainly use a full-strength Hayden on defense after watching CB Tracy Porter suffer a potentially serious groin injury in Friday night's matchup with New Orleans.

Saints CB Tracy Porter is questionable for Sunday's matchup with Houston because of a calf injury. He missed Week 2 and is a big risk for IDP purposes even if active. Missing Porter would be good news for Andre Johnson and the Texans, though. CB Patrick Robinson is a definite step down in coverage.

Saints CB Tracy Porter will miss Week 2's visit by the Bears because of a calf injury. Patrick Robinson figures to step in and is a step down coveragewise. He was picked on a bit by the Packers in Week 1, which can help pad his tackle total. Robinson's a risky play, though.

CB Tracy Porter is expected to be out of practice until after the 2nd exhibition game as he continues to work his way back from off-season surgery on his left knee. The surgery has been said to have included "microfracture elements." Tough to know how that differs from microfracture surgery without a medical degree. Anytime that word gets attached to an injury, though, it encourages extreme caution. Porter is a boom-bust type anyway and is worth avoiding. On the other hand, 2010 1st-rounder Patrick Robinson has been getting valuable 1st-team experience in Porter's absence and is said to be noticeably better.
