Redskins WR Terry McLaurin (hamstring) is inactive for today’s game against the Giants. His pre-game warmup evidently didn’t go well enough. We’ll see if the rookie can get back for Week 5. McLaurin’s absence leaves Paul Richardson and Trey Quinn as Washington’s top 2 WRs. Both guys are lower-end fantasy considerations in today’s plus matchup.

Redskins insider JP Finlay "wouldn't be shocked" if WR Josh Doctson was cut before Week 1. "What I can tell you from sources, they've tried to trade Doctson for two years. They haven't been able to trade him," Finlay said. "The athletic ability is there, but it never all comes together. I wouldn't be shocked if Josh Doctson gets cut when they go down to 53. I don't expect it to happen, but Jay Gruden and the front office made a big proclamation when they didn't pick up that [5th-year] option." Finlay went on to say that Paul Richardson, Trey Quinn and Terry McLaurin are all ahead of Doctson on the depth chart. Doctson is obviously off the redraft radar, and his dynasty stock continues to sink.

Redskins HC Jay Gruden confirmed that Trey Quinn has "taken over" as the team's slot receiver. "He’s confident, he’s quick, he’s got strong hands, he’s physical, [and] he’s tough," Gruden added. Quinn has been talked up by Gruden multiple times this offseason and has a real shot to lead Redskins WRs in targets this year. Former Redskins slot receiver Jamison Crowder averaged 5.9 targets per game across the past 4 seasons -- a full-season pace of 94 looks that would have ranked 34th among WRs in 2018. Quinn appeared in just 3 games as a rookie last year but racked up 114 grabs in his final college season at SMU. He's a nice late-round target in PPR drafts.

The Redskins have placed WR Trey Quinn on IR with his ankle injury. The rookie ends up playing just 3 games this season but caught 9 of 10 targets for 75 yards and a score in them. With WR Jamison Crowder set to hit free agency this offseason, Quinn could win Washington's slot receiver job next year. He's worth stashing in deeper dynasty leagues.

Redskins WR Trey Quinn (ankle) is inactive for tonight's game against the Eagles. WR Jamison Crowder (ankle) is active for the 1st time since Week 5. He should step back in as Washington's slot receiver but should only be in consideration in 1-game DFS contests.

Redskins WRs Jamison Crowder and Trey Quinn are listed as questionable for Monday night's game against the Eagles with their ankle injuries. Both guys were limited in practice all week. We're expecting Quinn to play, but his role would be uncertain if Crowder returns for this one. Neither guy can be trusted in fantasy lineups with the late kickoff.

Washington selected WR Trey Quinn with the final pick of the NFL Draft. After starting his college career at LSU, Quinn finished at SMU and led the team in receptions (114), receiving yards (1,236) and TD catches (13) in 2017 -- ahead of 2nd-rounder Courtland Sutton. In Washington, Quinn (5'11 and 203 pounds) figures to be blocked by slot WR Jamison Crowder, though Crowder is headed for unrestricted free agency next spring. Quinn's an intriguing late stash for dynasty rookie drafts of 5+ rounds.
