Jets top CB Trumaine Johnson is active for today's game against the Bills. He entered Week 1 questionable with a hamstring injury that limited him in practice all week. Johnson makes for a low-floor IDP option.

Jets CB Trumaine Johnson is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Vikings because of a quad injury thta continued to keep him out of practice all week. Johnson's absence doesn't really matter for IDP purposes, but it'll help Vikings WR Stefon Diggs' outlook. Jets slot CB Buster Skrine also remains out for the 2nd straight week with a concussion.

The Jets have ruled CB Buster Skrine (concussion) out for Sunday's game against the Colts. Fellow CB Trumaine Johnson is doubtful with a quad injury. That will likely leave the defense without 2 of its top 3 corners, which can only help Andrew Luck and crew. S Marcus Maye (ankle, foot) is also questionable for the 3rd straight game. He played through it the past 2 weeks and put in limited practices this week.

The Jets have ruled top CB Trumaine Johnson (quad) out for Sunday's game against the Broncos. He suffered the injury in Thursday's practice and then sat out Friday. S Marcus Maye is questionable after putting in limited practices all week. He played through the same questionable tag in Week 4 after missing the 1st 3 games. We'll see about Maye's status Sunday.

Rams top CB Trumaine Johnson (ankle) is active for today's game against the Jets. Slot CB LaMarcus Joyner (back) is also active, meaning the defense will have it's usual CB alignment against QB Bryce Petty in his 1st pro start. The Rams D carries big upside in this matchup.

Rams DE William Hayes (ankle) and CB Trumaine Johnson (ankle) are active for today's game against the Panthers. Johnson returns after missing the past 2 games. Hayes has played the past 2 games after losing 2 to his own ankle sprain. Neither is a strong IDP option.

Rams DE William Hayes (ankle) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Panthers. He has played each of the past 2 games but missed the 1st 2 days of practice this week. That's despite the team coming off a Week 8 bye and Hayes going limited-limited-full in the practice week leading up to the Week 7 meeting with the Giants. Don't count on Hayes for your IDP lineup this week. CB Trumaine Johnson, meanwhile, put in limited practices every day and said he hopes to play Sunday. Johnson missed the past 3 games but could be in for plenty of tackle opportunities if he's active.

Rams CB Trumaine Johnson left Sunday's loss to the Bills in the 2nd half with a right leg injury. He hopped off the field with the help of 2 trainers, putting no weight on his right foot. Johnson then traveled to the locker room on a cart. According to ESPN.com, he was in a walking boot and on crutches after the game. We'll watch for an update on L.A.'s top DB.

The Rams on Tuesday placed the franchise tag on CB Trumaine Johnson. Despite the fact that Johnson snagged 7 INTs last year to give him 15 through his 4 seasons to date, it's a surprising move. CB Janoris Jenkins is also headed for unrestricted free agency, as is safety-turned-LB Mark Barron. GM Les Snead said he hopes to retain all 3 plus S Rodney McLeod, according to The Associated Press.

Rams CB Janoris Jenkins is doubtful for Sunday's game against the Lions as he remains in the league concussion protocol. Jenkins twice returned to last week's loss to the Cardinals after leaving for concussion tests. St. Louis should, at least, get CB Trumaine Johnson back from a thigh injury that cost him the past 2 games. “I’m feeling good, feeling great,’’ he told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch on Friday. “I’ve been practicing all week and the leg’s been coming along. My confidence is up; it’s not going to be 100 (percent), but it should be good enough to play on Sunday.’’ Johnson's not a strong IDP option for this week.

Rams CB Trumaine Johnson cleared the league concussion protocol in time to put in a full practice Friday and is active for today's game at Washington. He carries upside into a matchup with QB Kirk Cousins after picking off a Russell Wilson pass in limited Week 1 time.

Rams CB Trumaine Johnson left Sunday's win over Seattle early with a concussion. He'll need to pass through the league protocol before returning, which puts his Week 2 status in question. It's a shame for him and IDP owners after Johnson collected 3 solo tackles and an INT in a little more than a quarter's worth of work against the Seahawks. If he can make it back for Week 2, a matchup with Washington should present fantasy upside. CB Marcus Roberson saw more playing time with Johnson out.

Rams CB E.J. Gaines will miss the entire season after having surgery for a Lisfranc foot injury, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Gaines had been competing with Trumaine Johnson for the starting job opposite Janorris Jenkins. As a rookie, he finished among the top 36 fantasy DBs. Johnson has picked 3 passes each of the past 2 seasons despite not starting full time. He could present some spot-start value in your IDP league.
