Steelers WR Michael Pittman is expected to miss multiple weeks after aggravating his foot injury, HC Mike McCarthy said Thursday. Pittman has totaled just 7 catches for 89 yards across his three games this season and can be dropped from redraft rosters. His absence should mean a boost in playing time for rookie WR Germie Bernard, who registered an 86% route rate and 8 targets when Pittman missed Week 2. Bernard is a fine stash in deeper leagues, but we wouldn't trust him in Week 5 fantasy lineups. WRs D.K. Metcalf and Roman Wilson and TEs Pat Freiermuth and Darnell Washington could also see more targets with Pittman out.

Update: Pittman has been placed on IR, knocking him out at least through Pittsburgh's Week 9 bye.

Update: Pittman returned in the second quarter

Colts QB Daniel Jones was added to the injury report and limited in practice on Thursday with a calf. "Sounds like the Colts are being cautious," NFL Network's Ian Rapoport tweeted. "Still worth keeping an eye on..." We'll certainly be keeping an eye on this one. With QB Anthony Richardson on IR, QB Riley Leonard is Indianapolis' backup. He'd be a huge downgrade for the offense.

Colts WR Michael Pittman (glute) is not listed on the final Week 10 injury report. He was held out of Wednesday’s practice but was full-go on Thursday and Friday. Pittman will be ready for his usual role vs. the Falcons in Berlin on Sunday morning.
