Pittman's absence elevates WR Roman Wilson and WR Germie Bernard, who checked in third and fourth in routes last week, respectively.
Wilson tied for second on the team with 6 targets but caught only three of them for 26 yards. Bernard ran just three routes and didn't get a look in the win over Atlanta.
No Pittman also might mean fewer 3-WR alignments for the Steelers, who sport a pair of highly paid tight ends.
Pat Freiermuth led that duo in Week 1 playing time but ran just four more pass routes than No. 3 WR Wilson. That share could climb against New England this Sunday.
Pittsburgh also might elect to run the ball more after ranking fourth among Week 1 teams in neutral pass rate.
DK Metcalf should see another strong target share after leading the team with 10 looks in the opener. He already sat inside the top 30 of our Week 2 WR rankings.
