The Colts selected TE Jelani Woods in the 3rd round of the NFL Draft. A 1-year producer at Virginia (44-598-8), Woods goes a towering 6’7, 259 pounds. Athletically, he tested off the charts with a Relative Athletic Score of 10.0 (out of 10.0). Converting to TE just a few years ago, Woods is a raw product, but he landed in a spot where he can work into Indy’s rotation slowly. The Colts used a mid-round pick on Kylen Granson last year, while they signed Mo-Alie-Cox to a 3-year, $18 million deal in March.
Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder, quad) is active for tonight’s game vs. the Cowboys. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so we’re not expecting the shoulder or quad to be an issue. Woods is coming off a big Week 12 but is a volatile fantasy play tonight with TE Kylen Granson back from his illness.
Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder, quad) is listed as questionable for Sunday night’s game vs. the Cowboys. He was a full participant in Friday’s practice, so he should be available. But with TE Kylen Granson back from his illness, Woods is not a reliable Week 13 fantasy play.
Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder, quad) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. The rookie broke out for a 8-98 line in Monday night's loss to the Steelers but is now in danger of missing Sunday night's game vs. the Cowboys. We'll see how Woods is listed on the final injury report tomorrow. TE Kylen Granson (illness) has been a full-go in practice this week and should be back for the Dallas game.
Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Eagles. That again leaves Indianapolis down to Kylen Granson and Mo Alie-Cox at TE. They both ran routes on about half of Colts pass plays last week, but Granson out-targeted Alie-Cox 4 to 0.
Colts TE Jelani Woods (shoulder) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Raiders. TE Mo Alie-Cox (ankle) is listed as questionable after getting in just a limited practice on Friday. Alie-Cox’s absence would leave TE Kylen Granson as Indianapolis’ clear lead TE. That might make him a DFS consideration, but you should be able to do better in season-long fantasy lineups.
