Trey Benson Goes On Injured Reserve

Cardinals RB Trey Benson has been placed on Injured Reserve with an ankle injury, so he will not be playing in Week 18. With RB James Conner battling a knee injury, Benson had a chance to start and potentially go off heading into the 2025 season. Instead, Michael Carter will likely start if Conner is out.

What They're Saying

Howard Balzer of CardsWire: "Cardinals placed RB Trey Benson on injured reserve, signed OL Nick Leverett from practice squad to active roster and signed RB Hassan Hall to the practice squad."

2024 Fantasy Football Impact

Benson had a disappointing rookie season but will enter 2025 as the primary handcuff to Conner.

If your championship is in Week 18, Carter is worth a stash and potential flex play.
