What They're Saying
Getzenberg: "This past year, he continued to tweak it in different situations. He said he's feeling good and does not anticipate any procedure."
Fantasy Football Impact
Let's make one thing clear right away: Kincaid has access to doctors and trainers and already went through an offseason of dealing with and working through this knee issue. I, you, and anyone commenting on X bring none of that knowledge. We have to assume that Kincaid and the Bills will be looking to take the best path for his short- and long-term health.
That said, here's what we do know: Kincaid's annual snap shares through his three seasons have gone ...
- 2023: 63.4% (across 16 games)
- 2024: 56.7% (13 games)
- 2023: 37.6% (12 games)
He reach 50% playing time in a game just three times this past season, all among the first five weeks. Kincaid's 50.6% snap share in Week 1 fell short of his full-season shares each of the previous two years.
Perhaps his offseason will hold some checkpoints that guide whether he does need a "procedure." Perhaps they're simply taking a chance that this offseason's healing won't meet any of last year's "tweaks." And perhaps he'll be just fine.
But Kincaid's 2025 experience plus decision -- to date -- to pass on surgery undeniably points to some risk for his 2026 fantasy football outlook.
Treat him with caution in early best-ball drafting. We'll see about the tight end's status once we get to summer drafting season.
