The Titans drafted Texas LB Anthony Hill Jr. in the second round Saturday. Hill spent nearly two-and-a-half years starting for the Longhorns and made an impact all three seasons. He proved particularly adept at making plays coming forward, evidenced by his 17 career sacks and 31.5 tackles for loss.
What They're Saying
NFL Network’s Daniel Jeremiah: “Hill is a fluid mover with outstanding size and speed. Against the run, he isn’t physical to take on blockers, but he has excellent quickness and change of direction … His instincts and speed put him in position to make a lot of plays. … In pass coverage, his change of direction is elite.”
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Hill sports plenty of talent to present IDP upside. The main immediate question will be whether Titans coaches trust him enough in coverage to play him in a three-down role early.
Tennessee returns both starting LBs from last year, Cedric Gray and Cody Barton. But the team also sports a new coaching staff.
Gray should be a lock to remain in the lineup. Barton, on the other hand, could prove vulnerable to the upside rookie.
We'll see what the team reveals on that front and determine whether Hill makes sense as a redraft target.
Dynasty Impact
Hill brings plenty of long-term upside and looks like a good bet to start at least by 2027. His non-obvious path to playing time in Tennessee could lower his rookie-draft price.
Hill looks interesting as a dynasty target, assuming that cost remains modest.
