Packers HC Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that TE Tucker Kraft (knee) "looks great right now." He's working back from injuries to his ACL, LCL, and meniscus suffered on November 2. "He looks so good that you want to put him out there, but we’re certainly still early in that process," LaFleur added. "Hopefully, he’ll be ready to go by training camp or early in training camp."

Kraft will be close to nine months removed from his injury when camp opens -- and over 10 months when the Packers kick off their season vs. the Vikings on September 13.
Although his injury was much more than just an ACL tear, it sounds like Kraft has a legitimate chance to be out there come Week 1. The question beyond that: How effective will he be coming off a significant injury?
Kraft's production has been built on high-end efficiency. Last season, he ranked second among TEs in PPR points per game but just 13th in expected points per game. He'll be hard-pressed to match that efficiency this year, especially early on.
Kraft lands seventh in our updated TE rankings and is fairly priced at his late-sixth-round ADP.
