The Giants are not placing WR Malik Nabers on the physically unable to perform list at the start of training camp, according to multiple reports.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
This revelation -- originally hinted at by ESPN's Jordan Raanan -- has to be good news for the state of Nabers' repaired right knee. Last we heard from HC John Harbaugh in mid-July, he wasn't ready to announce an expected date for the receiver to return to practice.
It's still not clear whether Nabers will take the field at the start of camp, but keeping him off the PUP list sure seems to indicate he'll see action early.
More importantly, no PUP list for training camp means the team can't place Nabers on the regular-season PUP list. So we have to assume the team expects him to be ready for Week 1.
We'll obviously keep watching updates -- and practice reports -- on this situation, but Nabers just got at least a little more attractive for 2026 fantasy use. Of course, that also might push his ADP back up the board.
Bet on this being one of the most watched and discussed fantasy situations through the rest of summer.
For now, Nabers sits among the top 19 WRs across formats in our fantasy football rankings.
