KC Concepcion Headshot

NFL insider Jordan Schultz reports that Browns rookie WR KC Concepcion "did not suffer anything serious" when he went down hard on his right shoulder at practice Monday. "The team is expecting him to be fine," Schultz added.

What They're Saying: Otherwise Looking Good

Schultz: "The 1st-round pick has had a strong start to training camp."

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Probably None ... But We'll See

While downplaying the severity of any shoulder damage, that assessment also seems to indicate Concepcion didn't emerge totally unscathed. Given that we're still more than a month away from the regular season, I'm betting the rookie will miss some practice time. How much will be key to watch.

Cleveland's obviously excited about the first-round pick over the long term. But any extended absence in his initial camp could threaten Concepcion's early role and connection with an already shaky QB corps.

We'll see how long he's out and what else we hear about the situation. As it is, no Browns wideout makes much sense before at least WR5 range of your draft.
