Patriots WR A.J. Brown dislocated his left thumb in Monday's practice but reportedly did not miss any time for it.

Brown, via ESPN's Mike Reiss: "It was tough. I tried to get back into that flow-state zone really quickly because obviously you're going through some pain. The game is what it is, you're going to get bumps and bruises, and you have to keep going. I know it's practice, but I'm not coming out of practice. Thumb out of place? You keep going."
Brown, on his timing with QB Drake Maye: "It started off a little slow. Obviously because I'm going against [Christian Gonzalez] and [Maye] is getting to know me more and more. But as these practices have been going, me and him have been pick up very good momentum."

Brown said he also dislocated that thumb while playing at Ole Miss in 2018 and played through it for the final five games of that season.
Reiss reports that Monday's post-dislocation performance included a pair of TD catches.
There's obviously no reason to worry about longer-term impact if Brown wasn't even willing to sit out practice time on the first Monday of August.
