Colts QB Daniel Jones has been a full participant in training camp, according to The Athletic's James Boyd, taking every first-team rep across the first four training camp practices. Teammates say he looks like the same guy who opened last season strong before suffering a fibula fracture and then a torn Achilles.
What They're Saying: Looks Like He Never Left
G Quenton Nelson on Jones: “He’s been incredible. He’s back like he never left.”
TE Mo Alie-Cox: “He looks like he never got hurt. You see, he’s throwing dimes left and right on the field, getting out the pocket scrambling and different things like that. I think his confidence is building more and more every day."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Room To Beat ADP
Jones' final test will come in live action, when he has to escape defenders and take hits. So far, though, his return from the Achilles looks encouraging.
Jones ranked seventh among QBs in fantasy points per game through Week 13 last year. Drafters shouldn't bank on that level of production in 2026 with Jones coming off the Achilles injury and without WR Michael Pittman. But he could certainly beat his current QB25 ADP by multiple spots.
