Patriots WR A.J. Brown has continued to find success as the newest member of the Drake Maye passing attack, catching all 4 targets thrown his way on the ninth day of training camp, per The Boston Herald’s Andrew Callahan. That comes just a day after he dislocated his left thumb.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: The Discount Won’t Last
Brown has averaged at least 16.0 PPR PPG in three of the past four seasons and remained an elite target earner, posting at least a 25.0% target share every year since his rookie season.
Despite that, Brown has maintained an affordable cost in fantasy leagues, despite his elite production and peripherals. Not to mention, he’s going from a Jalen Hurts-led passing offense to a Maye-led one.
For reference, Maye significantly outproduced Hurts in nearly every meaningful passing metric last year, including passing PPG, adjusted yards per attempt, and passing TD rate.
Brown is still on the right side of 30 and just landed in a better offensive situation. Training-camp buzz is simply pushing his price toward where it should have been all along.
