A.J. Brown Headshot

Patriots WR A.J. Brown turned in what Mass Live's Mark Daniels called his best practice of training camp Wednesday. It's probably no coincidence that it came against his former team, the Eagles. Brown caught all 7 of his targets, including "multiple highlight-reel catches," per Daniels.

What They're Saying

Brown after practice: “We had a good day. You know, there will always be some stuff that we need to improve on, and no day is perfect. You know, no matter how successful today may look, it’s always something to improve on. And tomorrow we have to come out with the same intensity and continue to get better.”

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Brown Trending Up

Brown's big day looks even better because it came against a loaded Eagles secondary. He made catches against CBs Quinyon Mitchell and Riq Woolen, according to Daniels.

Brown got off to a relatively slow start with his new team but has ramped up lately, saying Wednesday that he now feels 100% comfortable in the Patriots' offense.

Although he's probably past his peak, Brown remains an excellent WR set to play a huge role with burgeoning superstar QB Drake Maye. There's big fantasy upside here.
