Patriots RB TreVeyon Henderson slipped while cutting on Monday and left practice early. Henderson had been practicing after missing Saturday’s preseason game, but was potentially hurt at some point during practice, according to ESPN’s Mike Reiss. He had his right foot and ankle looked at on the sideline.
What They're Saying: Foot And Ankle Checked
Mike Reiss, ESPN: “Keeping an eye on RB TreVeyon Henderson, who didn’t finish the practice. He had slipped on a cut, and departed.”
Mike Giardi, Boston Sports Journal: “The lower grass field was a problem today. TreVeyon Henderson slipped and left practice after having his right foot/ankle looked at.”
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Stevenson Still Leads Here
We don’t have much information yet, but it’s worth being cautious on Henderson until we get more news. It certainly could just be a jammed toe and nothing serious.
We already like Rhamondre Stevenson as a value at RB25 in our RB PPR Rankings, just behind Henderson.
Stevenson has continued to excel while Henderson has struggled with pass protection. Stevenson is expected to start the season as the lead back.
