Colts WR Keenan Allen will play in the opener against the Ravens, GM Chris Ballard said Tuesday. Allen was arrested and charged with DWI on Sunday but won't face any discipline ahead of Week 1. "Good people make mistakes," Ballard said.

Allen's first court date is scheduled for September 16, three days after the season opener. It's unclear what that appearance is for or how long this case might take to settle. But the league typically waits for that process to play out before handing out any discipline.
It's possible that any potential suspension doesn't come until 2027.
Allen isn't an exciting fantasy option and now comes with added downside risk. But he might be counted on to play a big role out of the gate as WR Alec Pierce works back from his offseason ankle surgery.
