ESPN's Dan Graziano believes Rams RB Blake Corum is in line for more work this season. Corum's workload grew over the second half of last year, though he still trailed Kyren Williams in a 60/40 split. Graziano believes that gap could narrow to 50/50 in 2026.

Graziano: "The Rams were ecstatic that they were able to keep both of these backs healthy last season, and they open 2026 likely to use a similar workload split if they're able to do that again. From my conversations around this situation, I believe the Rams plan to give Corum more carries than he got last season and bring it pretty close to a 50-50 split, with Williams still nominally in the lead role to open the campaign. But if Corum keeps running the way he did in the second half of last season, and if he closes the gap the coaching staff still believes exists between him and Williams in pass protection, he could emerge as the 1A to Williams' 1B before the season ends."
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Fade Williams, Consider Corum at Cost
We've heard reports about Williams' role shrinking for the past few years, but it actually happened last season.
After handling 73.7% of the Rams' carries in 2024, he plummeted to a 55.7% carry share last year. And Williams' role sank further over the second half of 2025: He went from a 65.1% carry share over the first 6 games to 51.4% over the final 11.
It sounds like a 51.4% carry share might be his ceiling this season.
The Rams, who lead the league in implied points per game, are capable of supporting two fantasy-relevant RBs. But Williams will have a very tough time paying off his RB14 ADP if he only gets a little more than half of the backfield work. He's a fade in Round 3 of fantasy drafts.
Corum, meanwhile, ranked RB36 in PPR points per game from Week 7 on last year. That's a fair starting point for his 2026 value, making him a fine pick at his RB34 ADP.
But he has the upside to earn more work this season. And a Williams injury would turn Corum into a top-12 fantasy RB.
