After being selected by the Jets with the 16th overall pick this past NFL draft, Kenyon Sadiq scored 11.4 PPR points in his debut against the Titans. It’s just the sixth time that a first-round rookie TE has scored at least 10 PPR points on Week 1 since 2006, joining TJ Hockenson, Tyler Warren, Vernon Davis, Brock Bowers, and Jermaine Gresham.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: More Than a Debut TD
It was an exciting debut for the Jets’ rookie TE. Sadiq scored his first career TD early, on a 3-yard run on the team's opening drive.
While that play was the biggest contributor to his 11.4 PPR point debut, it was the 3 targets he earned throughout the game that gives us our best indication that Sadiq can provide meaningful production throughout the remainder of the season.
His 12.5% target share led Jets’ TEs, including second-year TE Mason Taylor, who showed flashes as a rookie.
With Sadiq this involved so early in his rookie season, there's plenty of reason to believe low-end TE1 production will stick.
