Jaxson Dart impressed in the first game of his second season, scoring 26.6 fantasy points and tying his career-high passing touchdowns with three. He completed 23 of his 29 pass attempts for 230 yards, totaling 21.2 passing fantasy points. Dart also produced 5.4 rushing fantasy points without scoring a TD, showing the high rushing floor he was expected to provide.

There were plenty of additions made from Dart’s first season to his second that included a head coach Jim Harbaugh, TE Isaiah Likely, and even WR Malik Nabers, who is essentially new after only being together for one game last season.
The first sign of those changes is unquestionably a good one. But it’s not unfamiliar fantasy production for Dart, who has produced at least 20 fantasy points in eight of his last 11 starts.
What’s unfamiliar is that it’s the most efficient passing performance of Dart’s young career. Sunday night was the first time he’s posted at least 10.0 adjusted yards per attempt, indicating that a second-year passing leap is possibly coming to fruition.
It’s likely a much tougher test for Dart in Week 2 with a Rams matchup awaiting next Monday night. But his rushing production gives him a high weekly floor.
