D.J. Moore Headshot

Bills WR D.J. Moore sprained his left shoulder in the Week 2 win over the Lions. But he started Sunday's game and finished with team leads in targets (10), receptions (6), and receiving yards (67). All that came on a day that challenged Buffalo's passing game. Only one other Bill caught more than two balls (Ty Johnson, four). Moore's 10 targets beat his nearest teammate by six (Johnson).

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Shoulder Shouldn't Impact Your Plans

Moore could be seen checking in with a trainer and moving the affected shoulder at least once during Sunday's game. But his participation came close to matching his Week 1 role:

  • Week 1: 81.3% route rate
  • Week 3: 74.2%

That followed a practice week that sandwiched a Thursday break between limited workouts Wednesday and Friday.

We'll see about Moore's practice participation this coming week. But he appears set to trust for a Week 4 home date with the Patriots (and beyond).

Not Much Going for Other WRs

Khalil Shakir played 48 total snaps to Moore's 42 but trailed him 23-21 in routes. That produced just 3 targets and 1 catch on a rough passing day against the Chargers.

Shakir has supplied reception totals of 4, 3, and 1 while tallying no more than 50 yards in any game.

Keon Coleman matched Shakir's 1 catch on 2 targets but ran just 16 routes. That edged Joshua Palmer's 14 but doesn't put him at a usable route rate (51.6%) if that continues.
