Titans RB Tony Pollard posted a solid fantasy outing in Sunday's loss to the Ravens, thanks primarily to a first-quarter TD run from 3 yards out. That came as part of a mere 16-48-1 rushing line (3.0 yards per carry), while Pollard added 2 catches for 2 yards on 4 targets. Tyjae Spears finished with 7 yards on 2 carries and 1 catch for minus-1 yard on his lone target. Nicholas Singleton added 2 rushing yards on 3 carries.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Avoid Pollard in Week 5, But Consider Him After That
This marked the second straight game in which Pollard beat Spears in targets and catches. The ankle issue Spears has played through likely contributed to that.
Pollard also should have contributed at least one more reception, but he failed to secure this flip pass from Cam Ward early in the first quarter.
The mere 3.0 yards per rush against Baltimore isn't overly concerning, because Pollard entered the game averaging 4.6 per rush, his best average since 2022 in Dallas.
Expect Pollard to cede the receiving lead back to Spears when the latter returns to full health.
You should also expect to find Pollard outside starter territory in our Week 5 rankings for a home date with the difficult Texans' run defense.
After that, however, come more favorable spots against the Colts, Browns, and Bengals.
Pollard's a decent option to have around as bye weeks start.
