Patriots WR Romeo Doubs caught 6 of 9 targets for 58 yards and 2 TDs in Sunday's 29-26 win over the Bills. He led the team in targets and receiving TDs, finishing with 23.8 PPR points. Doubs played 49 of 76 snaps (64.5%) and ran 29 routes, the most of any Patriots WR. His longest catch went for 15 yards, so the TDs carried his day. TE Hunter Henry was the only Patriot to match his 29 routes.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Doubs Fulfilling His Contract
Doubs' opener was a disaster: 3 targets, a bad drop, and no fantasy points. A.J. Brown's injury opened up the offense, and Doubs responded with a team-leading 96 receiving yards in Week 2 before slipping to 49 in Week 3. He also led the WRs in snaps with 42. Doubs earned a 25% target share (9 of 36), far ahead of DeMario Douglas and Efton Chism III (3 targets each on 21 and 18 routes). Buffalo entered allowing the 5th-most schedule-adjusted WR points (38.77 per game), so the matchup helped.
The next three weeks get much tougher. New England hosts the Raiders and Jets, then visits the Bears in Week 7. Las Vegas allows the 2nd-fewest adjusted WR points (23.13 per game) and ranks 8th in pass defense DVOA. The Jets (24th, 26.41) and Bears (25th, 26.40) are not much easier. The volume keeps Doubs in WR3 range while A.J. Brown continues to miss time.
