Jaguars QB Trevor Lawrence posted his second-best fantasy score of the season in Sunday's win over the Eagles, but it wasn't a terrific performance. He threw for a season-high 331 yards but benefited from a season-high 39 attempts. That beat his previous 2026 by 10 throws. Lawrence completed 61.5%, with 2 TDs and an INT. Both scores went to WR Parker Washington, who took a mid-range first-quarter toss 51 yards into the end zone and later made a gorgeous one-handed snag for a 27-yard TD in the fourth. To be fair, Lawrence showed trust in his wideout on that one, targeting a tight window just to the left of a CB facing away from him.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: More Volume Should Mean More Top-12 Weeks
Lawrence entered Week 5 ranked just 18th among multi-game starters in fantasy points per game. His score against the Eagles will help but won't deliver a huge boost.
Lawrence ranks a solid 12th in fantasy points per dropback, though, and his 0.59 stands ahead of last year's 0.55.
Lawrence's numbers are benefiting from a 7.7% TD rate that's likely to come down some. But he posted a career-high 5.2% in that category last year, his first with HC Liam Coen. And that rate jumped to 6.6% from Week 8 on in 2025.
So Lawrence looks like a good bet to continue a strong TD rate. If that meets with more passing volume, then we should get more consistently worthwhile fantasy scores.
The Jaguars figure to need that passing in a Week 6 matchup with the Texans, who entered this week ranked sixth in rush DVOA vs. 24th against the pass.
Jacksonville gets its bye in Week 7.
