Pitts had his breakthrough performance, catching five of 6 targets for 42 yards and a TD on his way to his first TE1 finish of the season. It came with the Falcons TE scoring his first TD this season, hauling in a 5 yard completion before the half of their overtime loss to the Ravens. Unfortunately, Pitts wasn’t able to expand his 15.2 PPR point season-high in overtime with QB Tua Tagovailoa throwing an INT on the second play of their possession to end the game.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Breakthrough, Then a Roadblock
After failing to top 8.0 PPR points through the first four games of the season, Pitts posted 15.2 PPR points to finish as a TE1 for the first time since he ended last season ranked as a TE1 in five of the final six weeks.
Pitts' latest outing produced more PPR points than his previous four combined.
His season-high prior to Week 5 was 7.7 PPR points, which ranked as the TE24 that week. He was the TE56 on the season, averaging 2.9 PPR points per game. Even in games started by QB Michael Penix, Pitts was still averaging just 4.6 PPR points per game.
But despite the latest success, Pitts faces a tough Week 6 challenge against a Bears defense that had allowed the third fewest points to TEs prior to this week.
