Broncos WR Jaylen Waddle caught 4 of 7 targets for 24 yards in Thursday night's win over the Seahawks. The targets and catches led the team, but there simply wasn't much fantasy production to go around with QB Bo Nix throwing for 107 yards. All four of Waddle's grabs came within 10 yards of the line of scrimmage.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Benchable Until Nix Improves
An ultra-conservative Nix has tanked Waddle's fantasy value. Nix attempted just 3 passes farther than 10 yards past the line of scrimmage vs. Seattle and completed none of them. He averaged 4.0 yards per attempt in this one and is down to 5.6 on the season.
Waddle's 25.9% target share on Thursday night was his second-highest mark of the season. But that hardly matters unless Nix opens up this passing game.
Waddle has now been held to 35 yards or fewer in 5 of 6 games. Only an excellent matchup against the Cardinals' 29th-ranked WR defense will keep him on the fantasy radar in Week 7. But Waddle is certainly benchable until we see signs of life from this offense.
