Jayden Daniels Headshot

Jayden Daniels overcame a slow start to complete 29 of 40 attempts for 300 yards and 2 TDs, while adding 10 yards on the ground in a comeback bid that fell short against the 49ers. His 21.0 PPR points were good for a QB7 finish in Week 6, giving him QB1 finishes in back-to-back weeks since returning from his elbow injury.

Daniels passed for a season-high 300 yards, the fifth-highest mark among QBs in Week 6. It’s also the second-highest mark of his career, trailing only Week 8 of his rookie season when he achieved 326.

He accomplished it in a game facing a 49ers defense that was allowing the seventh fewest passing yards while losing his top WR Terry McLaurin to a non-contact knee injury in the first quarter.

Daniels was contained as a rusher, posting the second-fewest rushing yards of his career. But his ability to still post QB1 production despite that points to a possible return to high-end QB1 production.

The Commanders are on bye for Week 7 before a Week 8 matchup with an Eagles defense that’s allowing the 11th most points to QBs.
