Aaron Rodgers Headshot

Rodgers was efficient but unspectacular in the 16-10 win, completing 19 of 30 passes for 212 yards and a TD with no INTs. He added 3 carries for 6 yards and finished as QB19 for the week. The Steelers stayed balanced with 29 carries against 30 pass attempts. Rodgers was working with a thin WR room, as Michael Pittman Jr. and Roman Wilson are both on IR and Ben Skowronek missed his second straight game with a calf injury. That forced practice-squad call-up Brandon Smith into the No. 3 WR role. The RBs caught all 9 of their targets for 81 yards, while the lone TD went to blocking TE Darnell Washington.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact

This looked a lot like Rodgers’ Week 1 line of 24/40 for 221 yards and a TD. On the season, he’s completed 61.6% of his passes for 1,699 yards, 13 TDs and 5 INTs. His 6.5 yards per attempt shows how little the Steelers push the ball downfield outside of Metcalf, and he’s been sacked 22 times. The Steelers ran 11 personnel on 68% of dropbacks, but also mixed in 21 personnel at 18% and used a sixth offensive lineman for the first time this season. That heavier approach caps his passing volume.

Pittsburgh hosts Cleveland in Week 8, has a bye in Week 9 and visits Cincinnati in Week 10. Neither matchup moves the needle much. Heading into Week 7, the Browns ranked 18th in fantasy points allowed to QBs (16.83 per game), and the Bengals ranked 17th (17.26). Until the WR room gets healthier, Rodgers sticks as a QB2 despite recent success.
