Goff was sharp in a 20-17 win over Green Bay, completing 22 of 32 passes for 303 yards and 2 TDs with no INTs. He added 2 carries for -1 yard and finished as QB10 for the week. His 9.5 yards per attempt was his best mark of the season. Amon-Ra St. Brown did most of the damage with 9 catches for 153 yards on 11 targets, while Jameson Williams caught both TDs. The one blemish was ball security, as Goff fumbled twice and lost one.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact
Goff has been one of the league’s most efficient passers through six games. He’s completed 67.3% of his passes for 1,788 yards and 14 TDs and still hasn’t thrown an INT. His 8.0 yards per attempt for the season shows how willing the Lions are to push the ball downfield. He’s topped 300 yards in three of six games, and his only real dud came in Week 1 (206 yards). The run game also gave him balance this week, with Jahmyr Gibbs handling 29 carries.
The schedule is uneven from here. Detroit hosts Minnesota in Week 8, visits Miami in Week 9 and hosts New England in Week 10. Heading into Week 7, the Vikings had allowed the fewest fantasy points per game to QBs (9.58), and the Patriots ranked 27th (14.63). Miami is the one good spot, ranking eighth (19.42). Goff’s efficiency keeps him a low-end QB1, but Week 8 is a tough matchup to temper expectations.
