The 49ers continue to deal with myriad injuries on offense, including a thigh issue that knocked RB Christian McCaffrey out for a portion of Sunday's loss to the Falcons. But TE George Kittle took advantage by leading the team in targets (10), catches (8), and yards (88).

All three numbers marked season highs for the veteran TE, though the team's season-high passing volume played more into that than any change for Kittle himself did.
The tight end has caught 5+ balls in three straight games and four of his past five. He has hit 80+ yards three times this season and gone for 69+ in five of the past six games.
Perhaps most importantly, Kittle has followed limited snap counts the first two weeks by playing 85% of snaps or more in each of the past five games.
He's an every-week starter -- outside of the Week 8 bye -- and should probably appear on the cover of any pamphlet for an Achilles surgery.
