The Bijan Robinson manager in your league probably felt amazing after the star RB delivered consecutive 2-TD outings upon the return of QB Michael Penix Jr. But the touchdowns have disappeared over the past three games. Robinson posted 63 scoreless yards on 20 carries in Sunday's win over the 49ers, adding 59 yards on 5 receptions. That stat line puts him just 16th among Week 7 RBs, with the Monday night game still to go. Robinson also finished RB32 and RB14 the previous two weeks, following a pair of top-5 performances.
Where'd the TDs Go?
Robinson has logged his three largest snap shares over the past three weeks, so there's no issue with his playing time on whole. His usage near the goal line has been interesting, though.
Robinson sits tied for 14th league-wide with 10 carries inside the 10-yard line, but seven of those came in the Week 3 win at Green Bay. That included five of Robinson's 6 carries for the season from the 5-yard line or closer.
But his dearth of opportunities from that range looks like a team issue rather than usage. Robinson ranks sixth among all RBs in share of carries from both the 10- and 5-yard line and in.
Atlanta has simply scored from farther out and leaned toward passing near the goal line in recent weeks. Penix has attempted nine passes from the 10-yard line and in over the past three weeks, producing 5 TDs. He passed just twice (with 1 TD) in that range over his first two appearances.
Penix has 6 total red-zone TD passes over the past three weeks on 19 attempts. He completed just one red-zone pass in each of his first two starts, Robinson's multi-TD games.
Atlanta has averaged 31 points over the past five games and scored no fewer than 23 in any of those contests. So scoring in general isn't a problem.
Robinson's red-zone carry share is actually up from 59.3% last year to 66.3% this season (10th among RBs). His red-zone target share, however, has dipped from 29.5% in 2025 (17th among all players and tops among RB) to just 8.3% this year, 27th among RBs.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Expect a Swing Back
A rebound in red-zone target share would certainly help Robinson. He scored three of last year's 4 receiving TDs from that range. Six of his 10 career receiving scores have come from inside the red zone.
But we should also expect the rushing TDs to come back. Penix is working on a 6.3% passing-TD rate right now, vs. 3.3% over his nine games last season. The NFL average is 4.6% and perennially hovers in that range.
Atlanta, meanwhile, ranks 20th in passing TDs vs. 29th in pass attempts; 10th in rushing scores vs. fifth in attempts.
Expect continued strong usage for Robinson and some regression toward the mean in how Atlanta is scoring.
And if you don't have Robinson, consider taking a crack at acquiring him from your league mate who does -- especially if that person's coming off a loss or more over the past three weeks.
