Kyle Pitts Headshot

Falcons TE Kyle Pitts caught five balls for 22 yards and a TD in Sunday's win over the 49ers. He caught all five of his targets, with no play gaining more than 9 yards, including the 5-yard TD in the middle of the third quarter. This marked Pitts' third straight 5-catch game and third consecutive outing with at least 1 TD.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Pitts Getting the Regular Usage He Needs

Jared pointed out Pitts' rebound in last week's usage takeaways, so I'll steal his table and update it:

Route Rate Target Share
Week 1 78.6% 5.3%
Week 2 41.5% 9.7%
Week 3 70.0% 8.7%
Week 445.5%15.0%
Week 572.5%17.6%
Week 672.7%21.2%
Week 759.5%15.6%

As you can see, the route rate dipped against the 49ers, but the target share stayed where we need it to be. Only WR Drake London drew more looks (10), with RB Bijan Robinson the only other Falcon to meet Pitts at 5.

Pitts has also seen targets from the 10-yard line or closer in each of the past three contests, after seeing none over the first four games.

His 17.5% red-zone target share for the season ranks just 20th among TEs, but it trails only TE Austin Hooper among Falcons and beats Pitts' 2025 share (12.3%).

Pitts now sits 12th among TEs in expected PPR points per game over the past four weeks; tied for sixth in actual points per game.

Given the strength of Atlanta's offense since QB Michael Penix Jr. returned -- 31 points per game across five weeks -- Pitts looks like a weekly top-12 tight end.
