Javonte Williams handled a season-high 25 rush attempts for a career-high 155 yards and a TD, finishing as the RB7 in Week 7 despite not seeing a target. He’s the first RB to finish as an RB1 without a target this season, and he’s now finished as an RB1 in more weeks than not.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Volume Meets Efficiency
The season-high rushing volume also resulted in a season-high rushing efficiency. Williams’ 25 carries were the second most in Week 7, while his 6.2 yards per carry ranked third among all RBs with at least 10 rush attempts.
While it was the first week this season that Williams failed to command a target, that’s due in part to QB Dak Prescott only needing a season-low 27 pass attempts to defeat the Eagles. He’s commanding a 9.2% target share on the season, the 24th-highest mark at his position.
Williams ranks as the RB8 on the season with 18.7 PPR points per game while handling a 69.7% carry share, the seventh-highest mark among RBs.
He faces a Cardinals defense in Week 8 that’s allowed more total points than any other defense.
