Chase Brown Headshot

Bengals RB Chase Brown carried just 12 times for 55 yards in Sunday's win over the Titans. He added 8 catches for 46 yards on 9 targets to save the fantasy day for PPR leagues. The rushing volume stayed strikingly low given that Brown averaged 4.6 yards per carry. And a long run of just 14 yards shows he didn't simply inflate that average with a big play. Tennessee did jump out to a 31-0 lead, but the Bengals clawed back to a 14-13 halftime advantage and still ran Brown just six times in the second half. Samaje Perine didn't take much, at least, carrying four times for 10 yards and catching his lone target for 9 yards.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Usage, Production Remain Worrisome

Brown hasn't carried more than 13 times in a game since Week 2, and he hasn't exceeded 55 rushing yards since Week 3.

The receiving volume helps, but Sunday's production in that area followed just-OK receiving lines of 3-21 and 4-19. Brown also hasn't scored a TD since Week 1.

That's all worrisome for a guy who should be well set up for fantasy production. Brown's the lead RB for an offense that entered Sunday ranked fourth in scoring, and then dropped 43 points on the Titans.

Brown won't face many more favorable matchups than the Titans, so his recent usage makes for real concern. Consider opportunities to sell the Bengal, who entered Sunday as the No. 21 RB in PPR points per game and sits 12th among Week 8 RBs, with the Sunday-night and Monday-night games to go.
