Michael Wilson played ‘hero’ in the Cardinals come-from-behind win over the Cowboys, catching the game-tying TD with six seconds left. He finished with 8 receptions on a team-high 15 targets for 111 yards and a TD while adding a 17-yard rush, finishing with 26.8 PPR points and a WR1 finish in Week 8.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Minshew Might Stick
Wilson reaped the benefits of QB Gardner Minshew entering the game for a benched Jacoby Brissett, going for 77 of his 128 yards and accounting for his TD in the fourth quarter. He also added a 17-yard rush attempt in overtime that led to the Cardinals' game-winning field goal.
He came away with a season-high 240 air yards that leads all WRs in Week 8 pending Sunday- and Monday Night Football. He’s produced at least 50 air yards in every game, as one of just eight WRs to eclipse that mark in each week this season.
With QB Jacoby Brissett's previous struggles leaking into a matchup against a Cowboys defense allowing the sixth-most points to QBs before being benched in the third quarter, Gardner Minshew’s late-game heroics likely land him at least another start as the QB for the Cardinals.
Unfortunately, the next immediate game comes against the Seahawks defense in Week 9, which is allowing the fewest points to WRs.
