Trey McBride hauled in seven of eight targets for 72 yards and a TD in the Cardinals' shocking late-game come-from-behind win over the Cowboys. He finished with 20.2 PPR points to finish as the TE3 pending Sunday- and Monday Night Football. It’s McBride’s sixth TE1 performance through the first eight weeks.
2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Still Rolling Through QB Chaos
Cardinals QB Jacoby Brissett was struggling through Week 7, with his 5.4 adjusted yards per attempt ranking 30th among QBs. So his 5.2 adjusted yards per attempt through nearly three quarters against a Cowboys defense allowing the sixth-most points to QBs led to him being benched for Gardner Minshew.
But through QB struggles or not, Trey McBride has continued to produce as one of the highest-ranking TEs, ranking as the TE2 on the season.
His most recent 20.2 PPR point performance in Week 8 makes him one of just two TEs to account for 20 PPR points or higher in four games this season.
McBride will project as a TE1, but his next game likely comes with QB Gardner Minshew continuing as the Cardinals QB against a Seahawks defense allowing the third-fewest points to TEs.
