Blake Corum Headshot

Rams RB Blake Corum rushed for a team-high 73 yards in Sunday's win over the Chargers, including a 23-yard, third-quarter TD. Corum trailed Kyren Williams 16-11 in carries but matched his 1 target, going without a catch.

2026 Fantasy Football Impact: Two More Usable Corum Weeks Ahead?

It's worth noting here that Corum still trailed Williams by 20 snaps, with nearly all of that coming on pass plays (including a 19-5 lead in routes).

We know that the Rams heavily prefer Williams in passing situations, and that has driven his sizable playing-time lead when the team trails.

But we've also seen Corum's workload pick up when the Rams lead or are tied, as Jared highlighted in last week's usage article.

This spot against the Chargers looked predictably positive. We'd also bet on the Rams not playing from behind at Washington next week or at Arizona in Week 10, which would make them usable spots for Corum as well.

Of course, the Rams' Week 6 home date with the Cardinals produced a surprising 18-16 loss, so there's no guarantee any game will play out as expected.

Keep that in mind as you decide how highly to consider Corum week to week.

After the Week 11 bye comes a string of higher-scoring offenses and then a trio of tough defenses:

  • Packers
  • Chiefs
  • 49ers
  • Cowboys
  • Seahawks
  • Buccaneers
  • Seahawks (Week 18)

Don't expect Corum to reach RB2 territory in our weekly rankings over that span.
