Jaxon Smith-Njigba Headshot

Jaxon Smith-Njigba posted a team-high 23.8 PPR points in the Seahawks' Monday Night Football loss to the Bears, catching six of 11 targets for 118 yards and a TD. He ended Week 8 as the WR6 for his seventh WR1 finish this season, the most by any WR.

Smith-Njigba’s highlight came on a 43-yard wide-open TD right before halftime, cutting the deficit to four. It was one of six catches he made for at least 10 yards.

He remains on a historic pace, producing 27.5 PPR points per game, the highest mark among WRs this season, and leading the next closest by 4.4. It would also be the highest by any WR of all-time.

Smith-Njigba has shown to be both QB- and defense- proof, accounting for 100 yards in all but one game despite catching passes from backup QB Drew Lock and facing a Chiefs defense that’s allowed the third-fewest points to WRs.

His next matchup comes against a Cardinals defense he’s already faced this season. He produced 42.5 PPR points and a WR1 overall finish the last time they met.
