Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) took part in the team's practice on Saturday, according to insider Tom Silverstein. "He will be evaluated in the morning to see how the knee responded," Silverstein adds. We should get an update on Rodgers' status tomorrow morning. And we'll get the Packers' inactives at noon ET.

The Packers list QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Vikings. He didn't practice all week, but HC Mike McCarthy said Friday that Rodgers is "getting better." We'll continue to keep an eye on his progress over the next couple of days. The good news is that Packers-Vikings kicks off at 1 pm ET, so we'll know Rodgers' status by noon Sunday. If active, he'll be a borderline QB1 at less than 100% against a stingy Minnesota defense.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) is "getting better," HC Mike McCarthy said Friday. "I'd say he feels better than he did at the beginning of the week," McCarthy added. We'll see how Green Bay lists Rodgers on the final injury report, but we might not know whether he'll play against Minnesota until inactives are announced. The good news is that it's a 1 pm ET kickoff. It's worth noting that injury expert Dr. David Chao expects Rodgers to play.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) missed his 2nd straight practice on Thursday. HC Mike McCarthy said that his QB will try do more with the rehab group than he did Wednesday but reiterated that Rodgers is a question mark for Week 2. “I’m sure he’s sore today," McCarthy said. "This is no layup. That’s why it’s a day to day situation.” Rodgers can play against the Vikings without practicing, but it'd be nice to see him get in at least a limited workout on Friday. Check back tomorrow for another update.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers spoke to the media on Wednesday and said that his injured knee is feeling "a little better each day." He characterized the injury as a sprain and also added that he doesn't need to practice to play against the Vikings this weekend. We'll continue to keep a close eye on his progress over the next few days. Packers-Vikings kicks off at 1 pm ET on Sunday.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers won't practice on Wednesday, instead working off to the side with the rehab group. "I would say it's day by day," HC Mike McCarthy said of Rodgers' status. "Anytime a player comes off a game where he's injured, obvious there's the hope of playing. He'll be given the whole week to get ready." We're still betting on Rodgers suiting up for Sunday's game against the Vikings, but there's no guarantee he'll be out there. We'll have another update tomorrow.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy wouldn't commit to QB Aaron Rodgers (knee) being available for Week 2 against the Vikings. "We're still collecting all the information on his specific situation," McCarthy said Monday. "I know Aaron wants to play and is always driven to play but that's all I have right now." Rodgers was obviously limited by that left knee injury on Sunday night -- but he also chucked for 273 yards and 3 TDs in the 2nd half. We'll keep an eye on his status throughout the week, but we'd be surprised if he didn't play in a big game against Minnesota.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers left in the 2nd quarter of Sunday night's game against the Bears after suffering an apparent left leg injury. After being checked out in the blue sideline tent, he rode a cart to the Green Bay locker room. We'll certainly be on the watch for updates. DeShone Kizer is the backup.

Update: Rodgers returned in the 3rd quarter.

The Packers and QB Aaron Rodgers have agreed to a 4-year extension worth $134 million. The $33.5 million average annual salary makes Rodgers the highest-paid player in NFL history. He's now signed with Green Bay through the 2023 campaign.

The Packers have placed QB Aaron Rodgers on IR, ending his season. HC Mike McCarthy said the QB was sore coming out of Sunday's return at Carolina, and then Atlanta's Monday night victory eliminated Green Bay from playoff contention. So Brett Hundley should start Saturday night against the Vikings and then at Detroit in Week 17. Hundley means an upgrade for both opponent defenses in fantasy.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy was non-commital on QB Aaron Rodgers' Week 16 status. "Rodgers is sore, and rightfully so," McCarthy said Monday. "He was hit too many times. Took two big hits. We're working through that and we'll see what tomorrow brings." Green Bay would be eliminated from the playoff picture if the Falcons beat the Bucs on Monday night -- and have no reason to play Rodgers against the Vikings on Saturday at less than 100%. We'll continue to monitor the situation.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) announced on Tuesday night that he's been medically cleared. That presumably means he'll start this weekend's game against the Panthers. Rodgers has been practicing for a couple of weeks now and been impressing teammates and media members. The last time he returned from a broken collarbone -- albeit on his non-throwing side -- he went for 318 yards with 2 TDs and 2 INTs against the Bears in his 1st game back. He comes with a bit lower floor than usual this week, but Rodgers sits safely inside QB1 territory in our rankings. His return is also a big boost to WR Jordy Nelson.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers impressed both beat writers and teammates on Wednesday in his 1st official practice since breaking his collarbone. "He looks like himself," WR Jordy Nelson said. Rodgers still needs to get full medical clearance, but he continues to trend toward returning for next weekend's game against the Panthers.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) is expected to practice when he's 1st eligible on Saturday, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. This doesn't yet guarantee that Rodgers will play again this season, though. Rapoport notes that Green Bay will need to still be in the playoff race to bring Rodgers back, which would likely require wins the next 2 weeks vs. Tampa Bay and Cleveland. Rodgers' collarbone will also need to be healed enough to get the green light from what Rapoport calls the Packers' "notoriously conservative doctors." We'll continue to track Rodgers' progress. He's 1st eligible to play Week 15.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) took some snaps from the training staff during Wednesday's practice, according to the Packer Report's Bill Huber. It was Rodgers' 1st time on the practice since field breaking his collarbone a month ago. HC Mike McCarthy said Thursday that Rodgers is making "really good progress and "moving right along." It sounds like he has a shot to return when 1st eligible in Week 15.

Doctors have told Packers QB Aaron Rodgers that he might be able to throw in 6 weeks, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. That timeline -- which would have him throwing by around Week 13 -- would clearly give Rodgers a chance to return before the end of the regular season. Whether to keep him around on your fantasy roster will have to be a personal decision, however, and depends on the usefulness of who you'd replace him with and how much you need that roster spot. If you have any IR slot, Rodgers is a no-brainer stash there. If Rodgers is designated to return, he wouldn't be allowed to play before Week 15. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the team isn't expecting him to return.

The Packers have placed QB Aaron Rodgers (collarbone) on IR. No surprise there. Making the move now allows Green Bay to re-activate Rodgers as early as Week 15. Of course, it's completely unclear whether he'll be ready by then or if the Packers will have a reason to bring him back. Rodgers is only worth stashing in the deepest of fantasy leagues and leagues with an IR spot.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy said Monday that QB Aaron Rodgers will undergo surgery on his broken collarbone. "Potentially his season will be over," McCarthy added. Rodgers will head to IR soon, with the possibility of being re-activated starting in Week 15. It sounds like the chances are better than not, though, that he misses the final 10 games. QB Brett Hundley is set to take over as Green Bay's starter. With plenty of weapons and plus athleticism, he could make some fantasy noise.

The Packers announced that QB Aaron Rodgers suffered a broken collarbone in Sunday's game against the Vikings. "There's a chance he could miss the rest of the season," the report added. Rodgers broke his collarbone back in 2013 and missed 7 weeks. That timeline would have him back for Week 14. We're sure to get more updates on the situation over the next 24 hours, but fantasy owners will obviously need to find a replacement for the stud QB.

Packers QB Aaron Rodgers exited in the 1st quarter of Sunday's game against the Vikings after being slammed to the ground by LB Anthony Barr. He appeared to injure his right shoulder. Rodgers was carted back to the locker room. We'll update his status when we learn more. QB Brett Hundley is Green Bay's backup.

Update: Rodgers is officially questionable to return with a right shoulder injury, the team announced.
