Raiders CB Casey Hayward (ankle) is active for tonight's game against the Chargers.

The Raiders have activated LB Denzel Perryman, LB Cory Littleton and CB Casey Hayward from the COVID list. Perryman is the only guy among the trio who carries IDP value. He'll belong in most lineups against what should be a run-heavy Colts offense.

The Raiders on Monday added multiple defensive starters to the COVID list. LB Denzel Perryman and CB Casey Hayward were the biggest names. LB reserves Cory Littleton and K.J. Wright went onto the list as well, which already had CBs Brandon Facyson and Nate Hobbs on it. Hobbs has been on the list since Dec. 20 and Facyson since Dec. 22, so they should be back ahead of Sunday's game at Indianapolis. We'll see whether any of this week's additions can make it back. IDP managers should plan to be without Perryman, though. That absence would return Divine Deablo to the spotlight.

Chargers CB Casey Hayward (groin) is active for today's game against the Patriots. He's not a strong option for IDP lineups, though.

Chargers lead CB Casey Hayward is active for today's game against the Dolphins. He entered the day questionable with a back injury but is ready to go. Hayward isn't particularly attractive for IDP lineups against the low-volume Miami offense.

Chargers CB Casey Hayward (calf) is active for tonight's game against the Chiefs. He remains a marginal IDP option, but his presence is bad news for the K.C. passing game.

Chargers CB Casey Hayward is questionable for Saturday's game against the Chiefs after a persistent calf injury "flared up" and kept him out of practice Thursday, according to the Los Angeles Times. "He had more soreness in his calf, and it kind of worked its way down to his Achilles, so we held him out," HC Anthony Lynn said. "There's always a concern, but we're hopeful he can play." We'll check on Hayward's status when the inactives are announced at about 7 p.m. ET Saturday.

As expected, Chargers CB Casey Hayward is active for today's game against the Browns. He was listed on the injury report with an ankle issue during the week, but Hayward missed practice while dealing with the death of a younger brother. Back with the team, he should be in IDP lineups for a high-ceiling matchup against DeShone Kizer.

Chargers CB Casey Hayward is officially questionable for Sunday's game against the Browns, but HC Anthony Lynn told ESPN.com he expects his lead cover guy to play. Hayward has a "calf/personal" designation on the injury report. He has been away from the team all week dealing with the death of a younger brother but is scheduled to return before Sunday.

Packers CB Damarious Randall is inactive for tonight's game at Detroit with a knee injury. That leaves Casey Hayward, Sam Shields and Quentin Rollins as Green Bay's top 3 corners. Randall has played well this season, but his absence doesn't significantly alter the team D's outlook -- which was already mediocre.

Packers HC Mike McCarthy confirmed after Wednesday's practice that RB James Starks will start Sunday against the Bengals.  The Green Bay Press-Gazette reports that McCarthy said RB Eddie Lacy is making progress from his Week 2 concussion but has a few more tests to pass before he can return.  On defense, the team will once again miss CB Casey Hayward (hamstring) in Week 3.

Packers CB Casey Hayward expects to miss at least the 1st month of the season, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.  Hayward missed the early part of camp with a hamstring injury and then strained it when he returned for the Aug. 23 preseason game.  Green Bay plans to use more caution in bringing him back this time.  His absence certainly doesn't help the Packers' defense.  Hayward graded out as Pro Football Focus' #4 CB overall last year, 2nd best in coverage.  His 6 INTs tied for 4th in the league.  And that all came in a rookie season that saw him play just 61% of the team's defensive snaps.  Tramon Williams and Sam Shields figure to start while Hayward is out, leaving the Green Bay secondary still in solid shape.  If Hayward can return at 100% this time and finish out the year, the whole unit will certainly get a boost.

Packers CB Casey Hayward sat out Monday's practice with hamstring trouble, just as he has most of the summer.  The 2nd-year corner missed a month after initially hurting the hammy in a pre-training camp workout.  He tweaked it again in the Aug. 23 exhibition game against Seattle.  Hayward doesn't look like a good bet to start Sunday's opener against San Francisco.  That shouldn't hurt the Packers' team D too much, with CB Tramon Williams starting across from Sam Shields -- especially against the run-heavy Niners.  But Hayward's a high-upside IDP if your league starts any CBs.  We'll see how his hammy fares from here.
