The Bills on Friday activated WRs Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis from the COVID list. That comes less than a week after each player got deactivated, which means neither tested positive at all.

Bills WRs Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis have been placed on the COVID list as close contacts to a staff member who tested positive for the virus. Beasley and Davis, of course, are unvaccinated so must stay away from the team for 5 days. This particular instance won't impact their 2021 campaigns -- but both guys come with elevated risk because they're unvaccinated.

The Bills “aren’t giving up on Dawson Knox,” per Matthew Fairburn of The Athletic. “Dawson, going into Year 3, we have big expectations for him,” GM Brandon Beane said. “It’s a big offseason for him. He’s already told us that he plans to link up with Josh (Allen) out in California, which will be good for those guys to continue to get more reps.” Drops (13 on 94 career targets) have been Knox’s biggest issue thus far. Buffalo has yet to sign an impact free-agent, though, instead adding former Seahawk Jacob Hollister. If the depth chart remains favorable, Knox should have some streaming value in 2021. Just keep in mind that Buffalo ranked 2nd league-wide last year in percentage of 4-WR sets. With Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley, Emmanuel Sanders and Gabe Davis, the position remains one of strength.

Bills WR Cole Beasley revealed that he broke his fibula in Week 16. He sat out the regular-season finale but returned for the playoffs, catching 7 of 11 targets in 2 games. “Take a few meds and suck it up," Beasley said. “There was no way I was gonna miss a playoff game.” It's unclear if he'll need surgery, but the injury shouldn't impact his 2021. Beasley has posted 67-778-6 and 82-967-4 lines in 2 years with the Bills, finishing 34th and then 27th among WRs in PPR points. He'll probably be undervalued again in 2021 fantasy drafts.

Bills WRs Stefon Diggs (oblique) and Cole Beasley (knee) are active for today's game against the Colts. Diggs was expected to play, but Beasley had been genuinely questionable. He carries attractive upside against an Indy defense that tends to funnel action to the middle in the passing game. Of course, he also carries some risk of re-injury or playing limited snaps. Keep both aspects in mind as you set your lineups for the Wild Card round.

Bills WR Stefon Diggs is "a go" for Saturday's playoff opener against the Colts, despite his oblique injury, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. Expect to have Diggs available for fantasy lineups. Teammate Cole Beasley (knee) is also "confident" he'll be able to play through the knee issue that cost him Week 17. Garafolo reports, though, that the Bills will need to assess his condition before the game Saturday to determine his availability. Beasley figures to be a risky fantasy option even if he plays. We'll confirm the status on both wideouts when the inactives come out around 11:30 a.m. ET.

Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) is listed as questionable for this weekend's Wild Card game vs. the Colts after returning to a limited practice on Thursday. We'll get his game status by noon ET on Saturday, but Beasley will be operating at less than 100% if active.

Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) did not practice on Wednesday. He's considered week to week and is looking iffy for Saturday's game against the Colts. Buffalo at least got WR John Brown back last week and would also have WRs Gabriel Davis and Isaiah McKenzie behind Stefon Diggs this weekend

Bills WR Cole Beasley (knee) is out for Sunday’s game vs. the Dolphins. We’ll see if he can make it back for Buffalo’s playoff opener.

Bills WR Cole Beasley is "week to week" with a "leg injury," HC Sean McDermott said Tuesday. We don't have any other details right now, but don't expect to see Beasley in Sunday's finale vs. the Dolphins. Buffalo might opt to rest starters in that game anyway. We'll see if Beasley can make it back for the Wild Card Round of the playoffs.

Bills WR Stefon Diggs was knocked out of Saturday's game against the Broncos in the 4th quarter with a foot injury. We'll update his status as soon as we know more. Diggs had a huge game before exiting, catching 11 of 13 targets for 147 yards. If he misses time, it'd mean more targets for WRs Cole Beasley, Gabriel Davis and John Brown, who seems set to return from his ankle injury next week.

Update: Per NFL Network's Kim Jones, Diggs was back on the sideline late in the game, "smiling and talking with teammates." That suggests that he avoided a serious injury.

7:11pm EST 11/28/20

Bills WR John Brown (ankle) has been placed on IR. He'd already been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Chargers but will now also miss at least Week 13 vs. the 49ers and Week 14 vs. the Steelers. WRs Stefon Diggs, Cole Beasley and Gabriel Davis all project for target boosts with Brown out.

Bills WR John Brown (ankle) is out for Sunday's game against the Chargers. He'll be replaced by rookie WR Gabriel Davis, who becomes an intriguing DFS flier. But the real winner is WR Cole Beasley, who's posted 6-100, 6-53 and 11-112 lines on 25 total targets in the 3 games Brown has missed all or most of this season.

Bills WR John Brown (ankle) won't practice on Wednesday, HC Sean McDermott said. He added that they'll "take it one day at a time and see what the rest of the week holds" for Brown. It's a bad sign that he's unable to practice at all coming off the bye week. Fantasy owners shouldn't be counting on Brown in Week 12 lineups. His absence would boost WR Cole Beasley's target projection.

The forecast for today's Patriots-Bills game calls for a chance of rain and 20 mph sustained winds with gusts over 30. That certainly puts a damper on the passing games. New England figured to go run-heavy anyway, so the bigger impact is on Josh Allen and Co. We'd also avoid both kickers in this game.

Bills WR Cole Beasley suffered a foot injury in the 2nd quarter of Sunday's game against the Raiders and is officially questionable to return. We'll pass along an update when we get one.

Update: Beasley returned in the 3rd quarter.

FOX Sports' Jay Glazer reports that the Bills have worked out a trade for WR Stefon Diggs. NFL Network's Tom Pelissero adds that Diggs and a 7th-round pick will go to Buffalo in exchange for 1st-, 5th- and 6th-round picks from the Bills plus a 4th-rounder in 2021. (Buffalo's Round 1 pick is #22.) Diggs won't turn 27 until late November and still has 4 years left on his current contract. He's coming off consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons, with a career-best 17.9 yards per catch in 2019. Diggs should challenge John Brown for the role of top WR in Buffalo, but the move isn't likely to help his fantasy outlook. The Bills have ranked among the league's most run-heavy offenses since before HC Sean McDermott arrived in 2017. In addition to Brown, WR Cole Beasley remains to eat up some targets. Add in QB Josh Allen's accuracy issues, and you get a potentially frustrating fantasy outlook for Diggs. The new guy's arrival also dings the fantasy outlooks for Brown and Beasley, though Diggs can only help Allen's upside. Minnesota, meanwhile, finds a gaping hole in its WR corps opposite Adam Thielen. We'll see how the Vikings address that need this offseason.

Bills WR Cole Beasley, WR John Brown, RB Devin Singletary and TE Dawson Knox are all inactive for today’s game against the Jets. Don’t expect to see much of QB Josh Allen or RB Frank Gore. Top CB Tre’Davious White is also inactive for Buffalo.

Here's what Bills HC Sean McDermott said Tuesday about how he'll handle his team's meaningless Sunday finale against the Jets, according to SNY.tv: "We're going to play a majority of the guys. To go into detail will take some time, but the majority of guys will play, not all of them. Josh (Allen) will play. They're not all going to play the same amount in the game. We're going to be smart with that, but it's important that we get work in fundamentally and in terms of execution and we stay as sharp as can be." Translation: Expect most starters to play. Don't expect any key guys to make it past halftime. We'd plan on not using QB Josh Allen, RB Devin Singletary or the WRs, if you can help it.

The forecast for today's Eagles-Bills game calls for a 30% chance of rain with winds of 27-32 mph. Gusts could reach 40 mph. That's more that enough to impact the passing and kicking games. We've just updated our projections for all the players in this game.
